Hang out in bo-ho district in comfort!Posted Jun 14, 2013
Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Facilities and the system were well thought out, it was all there. Our rooms were good basic which was fine. Comfy bed and armchair, large table with a desk chair, storage space, fridge, nice shower room / WC. Cheerful printed curtains made up for the plain unadorned walls. The windows opened and closed very well. Lino floor covering but that was ok. Only - no point in having a hanging wardrobe without any hangers! I appreciated a notice on reception saying that profits were ploughed back into improving the facilities. The lift and its gf back entrance needed freshening up, but not priority. Reception referred us to a great place for supper, we liked the interesting, informal bo-ho area very much. Great for travellers, students, of any age, but not a place for young families. I'd stay there again.

I was very impress with Anker Hostel, for such a low price in such an espensive city. The location was awesome, right in the heart of the city. the rooms were what you paid for " Bunk Bed" but was really clean. Great servive overal, I would recommend it if you are on a budget crunch.

I Know Oslo is Expensive, but ...Posted May 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Wish I'd stayed elsewhere. Did not expect to be charged for towels & sheets for a $100+/nt room. Neighborhood seems a tad seedy. Meet interesting people in the lobby which is kinda cool. Seating in loft above lobby not designed for human anatomical configuration.

The toilet facilities were badPosted May 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The security and facilities were not good. No locker in room.. the toilet was dirty and small.. the bath facilities were in bad condition.. I stayed in a shared dorm and slept at the bottom of a 2-deck bed, there was not enough space that I couldn't sit on the bed

didn't expect to borrow linens from the front desk; the comforter themselves didn't seem to be clean (although we got to wrap them with the borrowed linens)

Nice stay, clean room. Mutch noise outside during the night. I am always disappointed when I am asked if I want to rent bed linen when I check in.
