“very good breakfast”
For the stardard in europe this hotel was good in general
“very good!”
When considered its price , it's extremely OK! Room was very clean; stuff was friendly and polite: breakfast was really good with big space.
“Best for its cheap price”
It is really cheaper compared to other comfortable hotels, for the cheap price I paid for one night, it was cozy, clean and comfortable with helpfull staff.
“Oslo in one day”
Floor where we were put was being refurbished. Painting and electrical work was being done on the floor. Room was neat and clean. Beds in all of Europe are not comfortable and this was no exception. Breakfast was included and was very nice but the room where it was served was like a cafeteria. Hotel is convenient to the train station which allows use of bullet train to/from to airport and to train departures to the rest of Norway. Did not experience street noise reported by other guests and our room faced the front of the hotel. I've stayed in worse hotels but this is one to which I would not take my bride on our honeymoon.
“Average accommodation remote to tourist areas in Oslo.”
Good value. Difficult to reach at night w/o unbelievably expensive taxi from Oslo Central train station. Great breakfast buffet w. excellent roomy facilities. Excellent internet access in room w/o extra charge.
“Mediocre hotel inbetween areas you want to visit”
The neighborhood you walk through to get there was a little sketchy which they did not mention when they told me it was an easy walk to the hotel and there was a lot of construction/remodeling happening at the hotel while we were there which made it look janky. Like the hallway leading to our room. It had a fantastic window view of the city as we were very high up so if you stay here request a top floor. It was fairly bare bones in terns of decor and amenities but was in a cheaper price range than many other hotels in Oslo. Good breakfast buffet and room. It is sitiuated on a main street near a big bus stop so that's a plus but the area itself is sort of in between two areas you would want to visit and hang out in
“Oslo is another big city”
I don't need to go back to Oslo, it is just a big city. The rest of Norway is beautiful and has much to see.
“Great hotel at a great price (for Oslo)”
I stayed for 1 night at Anker Hotel in late July. Everything seemed new and clean with a fairly modern decor. I was also impressed by the room--I had a very comfortable stay here! The breakfast (included in the price) was buffet-style and offered a great variety of food. Needless to say I stuffed myself to the gills and left the next morning very happy!
“Pleasant stay in Oslo”
Very nice hotel. Everyone at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Location was great. Downtown Oslo was only a short walk, and there was a trolley stop right outside the motel. Also, breakfast was good, with a wide variety of food. The only downside was there was considerable remodeling during our stay. There was a lot of construction areas, and it was very noisy during the day. But that is only temporary, and overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
“Don't visit while the hotel is under construction.”
The hotel is expanding and was under construction. The noise from jackhammers and other tools was constant and irritating. The lobby was torn up and one had to traverse and obstacle course of uneven rocks and cement in order to enter the lobby. The hotel made no effort to minimize the constant noise or to do any of the little things that it might do to attempt to compensate for the inconvenience and noise.
