The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Oslo’s city centre and is a very short walk to the central station where trains, trams and buses converge and depart. The standard room is rather small and would be suited comfortably for one adult guest. Be prepared to experience a maze finding your way to your room. There is not enough space in the wardrobe to hang clothes particularly for longer stays. The bed has more pillows than space to sleep on. For our second night, we had a room a little bit larger on the 8th floor. The space limitation of the standard room however is overshadowed by the hotel’s hype designs and contemporary styling. The breakfast varieties are also worth complimenting. If you can extend your travel budget, upgrading to a higher-level room may solve the space issue. But since Oslo is a very expensive city to visit as a tourist, you may need to be flexible with your mindset and be open to the tight space if travelling as a couple or with a travel buddy. There are other perks you can avail of to make the most out of what you paid for such as the use of the gym, sauna, steam room, indoor pool and secure luggage storage facility, as well as the central location of the property. Front desk employees are equally friendly and warm in relating with guests. So expect a nice and patient reception.
