Quiet comfort in the heart of the city
Great location near shopping/restaurants/sightseeing but on a quiet street; great Buffett breakfast included; a little dated but very pleasant. Would stay there again!

This hotel is badly in need of an update, especially in light of the price we paid as compared to other hotels we stayed in during our trip. Our room was clean but the hallway carpeting was gross, the elevated threshold to the bathroom was flat out dangerous and painful to trip over, the furniture was worn and stained, and advertised amenities (such as extra pillows and duvets and 24/7 bar food service) didn't exist. Even outside presentation was lacking as the signage lights were only partially lit. Security was also concerning as anyone could go directly to elevators without needing a key card as was the practice in other city hotels in Norway. The one impressive feature was the breakfast offering which was quite extensive.

Fantastic stay in a great hotel. Very clean room and excellent breakfast included in price. Very friendly staff who were very helpful and pleasant. Great location close to sights, bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Good place to stay
Very walkable area. Great location. Short walk to waterfront, shopping, museums and restaurants. About 15 min walk from train station. Luggage storage if arriving early. Comfortable and clean room.

Good for a city break
Its a nice hotel. Close to all of the attractions and the public transportation is nearby.the room was clean, not specious, but ok. The breakfast was amazing.

The junior suite on the 5th floor was spacious (for three adults) but rather worn down: the wooden floor was worn and the scrapes had gathered dirt. The bathroom got all wet when showering despite the glass divider/door. Otherwise room and hotel over all nice, in condition and cared for.

Nice hotel in the center of the city
This hotel was a nice find. It is walking distance from Karl Johans gate which has a lot of shops and restaurants. The room we got was spacious for a European hotel. I must say that was nice. I just walked everywhere because it is decently located in the center of the city of Oslo. Public transportation is also available nearby.

Excellent service particularly from the reception staff who were so helpful and obliging. The hotel is in a really good location to explore Oslo Centre. There is a Metro station beside the hotel but most places easily walkable too.

Quick and efficient check in. Fairly good location near a department store that has an interesting food place at its basement. For those who are desperate for Asian food, the basement has a supermarket selling cooked noodle (spaghetti) and rice packets at reasonable (Norwegian standard) prices

Fantastic staff. Large rooms. Beautiful breakfast (including breakfast to go if you have to check out early). The single occupancy is GREAT value. My only complaint is that the street noise is pretty bad, through no fault of the hotel.

Staff forced me to pay 190 NOK (about $20) to check in 1.5 hours early even though the room was clean and ready. After having traveled for 2 days I paid it just so I could sleep. What a terrible policy. Also, the “air conditioning” is worthless and the hotel has the amenities of a Motel 6. Stay away.

Amazing location! Very kind & helpful staff. The breakfast is a lot larger than expected so it was easy to find foods that everyone enjoyed. such a direct, 7-minute walk from the Central Train Station. Lovely bakery 2 blocks away with the best freshly baked pretzels.
