Convenient location in OsloPosted Jun 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
It's an older character building, The room was small, but provided exactly what we needed, a comfortable, clean place to stay. Free coffee and tea. The free breakfast was a ham sandwich, piece of fruit and bottle of juice, which was fine by my needs, delivered to your door. The location was great for walking to and from the central train station, with lots of shopping, restaurants and bars along the way. I'd stay here again, for a quick stop over.

Great servicePosted May 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room missed air condition, had to sleep with the window open, and its quiet noicy outside. The staff were ever so nice, and the room was clean. Great location.Breakfast bag served at my door before six, suited me well. Good offer for a good price.

Clean, centrally located hotel that was reasonably priced. What else do you need?! It is not a luxury but it is nice enough.

Close to everythingPosted Mar 30, 2014
This is a wonderful little budget hotel sitting right in the heart of Oslo and only blocks from the harbor. The Flybussen bus stop is a block down from the hotel and called Prof. Asch. plass. There are many things to see including the fortress, resistance museum, parliament, Nobel Peace Museum, City Hall and other museums within walking distance. There are trams and buses non-stop if you prefer not to walk. The hotel rooms are perfect for someone who isn't planning on spending much time in the room and doesn't need luxury accommodations. It's basically a bed, small bathroom, nice TV and free internet connection. Coffee, tea, cappuccino (add sugar) etc. is available for free on the second floor. They deliver a bag outside your door in the mornings with a sandwich, a piece of fruit and a bottle of juice for your breakfast. You can pick the kind of sandwich. This is very helpful considering the outlandish prices of Norway! If you need an umbrella, they have them for your use. Need a corkscrew? They have a drawer of them. They'll make ice if you need it. The front desk staff is lovely and let us check in mid-morning as our room was ready. I would stay here again and again.

small room!Posted Mar 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
i asked for a single, and that's pretty much what i got! the room was so small that it encouraged one to spend a lot of time outside the hotel... nothing like the pictures shown on their promotion. Also 'breakfast included' means they leave a sandwich, a bottle of juice and a piece of fruit in a paper bag, outside your room in the morning. if you just want a place to crash, the location is great. otherwise, not much to say about it.

Value for money in the centre of townPosted Mar 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great service - check in was a breeze, and we were asked what packed lunch we wanted in the morning. No fuss, brilliant, simple things done right. The room was in average condition, the shower door was broken, but we only spent one night there so it wasn't an issue. Brilliant location, only 10 mins walk to the main station, and a few mins walk to the shops, cathedral, and town centre. Free wifi was useful. A couple of small notes - The walls and doors were slightly too thin, so you were able to hear all the banging and opening during the night and early morning from the cleaners. The mattress was also a little thin, so was slightly uncomfortable. Biggest gripe was no control over the temperature in the room - It was cold outside and we wanted to turn the heating up, but we couldn't. Would recommend for short stays.
