A good hotel close to the centre of OsloPosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: It was central to the places we wanted to visit in Oslo
Location: A short walk to the centre of Oslo, lots of night life and tourist destinations close by.
A great hotel with good rooms and wifi. Appreciated the good drapes on the windows given the extended hours of daylight during summer here. A dark room makes going to sleep so much easier. Had an issue with noisy air con in the first room we were assigned. The front desk responded immediately and sent someone to help move us to another room.

good location for exploring down town OsloPosted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: location, room was comfy, 'wet room' with heated floor!
Cons: Staff sticking to company 'policy' = 'if you want to keep your towel, hang it back up' but we'll give you a new one anyway
Good place to stay, although breakfasts were a bit crazy!

Failure to address allergiesPosted Jul 26, 2014
We notified the hotel prior to our stay that my wife was allergic to feathers. The hotel disregarded our request and had no pillows or duvets for my wife. She had to sleep without them. The next morning we were told by the staff that we would get a refund, but that the manager was not available to give a refund. Several weeks have gone by and we have yet to get a refund. The first day of our anniversary trip across Norway was ruined as it was difficult to stay awake.

Excellent LocationPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Its location. The hotel is within walking distance of many of Oslo's attractions and services. There are also numerous restaurants nearby.
Location: Opera house, Aker Brygge, Radhusbrygge Quay (ferries to Fram Museum) are all within easy walk. Main railway station 15mins walk.
We had a standard room on the 7th floor. Nicely decorated and furnished in the Scandinavian style, plenty of blonde timber. Good sized desk and good wifi. Modern bathroom but no toiletries. Hanging hooks rather than wardrobe for clothes. Nice comfortable bed though the same could not be said about the pillows. Breakfast included a wide selection of hot and cold foods and fruit. Staff were very helpful.

Central, modern and comfortablePosted Jul 1, 2014
This hotel is close to all the main attractions in central Oslo. It has all the amenities of a hotel that caters to business travelers i.e. iron in room, etc. except for a gym but they have a discounted day-pass agreement with a gym just a few blocks down. The heavy curtains are effective in keeping the sunlight out in the long summer days when the night is too short for a good night's sleep.
