This hotel was absolutely perfect for my stay in Oslo. I was traveling solo and wanted something that was easy to travel out of, both walkable and public transit. There is a bus station maybe 200 feet from the front door and a grocery store just down the block. The room was clean and comfortable. I had a question for management regarding the WiFi and it was answered very quickly. Overall, this was a really great experience. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and very quiet, beautiful part of Oslo. Only thing was need for a few additional towels but they were delivered quickly. A great stay in Oslo!

Lovely neighborhood, close to Vigelund Park. Only disappointment: I thought both rooms were equivalent, but one was considerably smaller, and in the eaves [with sloping ceilings by the windows].

Frogner House is in a great location - easy access to all points of interest. Our family has stayed several times in various sized rooms. The accommodation is good however our studio room had a particularly tiny shower enclosure which on building standards elsewhere would not be compliant. It was most unsatisfactory and we are small people. The foyer and passageway also need updating.

Great Western Oslo Location
They have a completely unstaffed check-in arrangement, which made me nervous, but it worked out perfectly. The room was comfortable. The bed was great. Perfectly adequate shower and other amenities. It had a little kitchen area that seemed fully equipped, but we did not use it.

Visually appealing building in a pleasing area of Oslo, midway between the city centre and Bygdoy. Easy to walk into the city and also on a transport route with many buses, and a taxi rank nearby. Supermarkets within five minutes' walk. Kitchen cleverly concealed within a cupboard. There could be more instructions for appliances. I was unable to use the hob, and the online assistant couldn't give me an answer to be able to use it. Fortunately the microwave worked. Additionally there was no remote control for the TV. However, the bed was large and comfortable, the dining area good, and the views from the dual aspect windows were enjoyable. Automated check in and check out presented no issues.

Good location, easy to find free nearby parking in the street overnight, easy to check in, and the room was nice with a small kitchen where we made our breakfast. Very quiet, actually no sounds, both from neighbours and the street. Perfect for our short stay, and next time we may stay for longer

Great stay at Frogner house, location was perfect very close to bus and tram and lovely little view from the window. Only issue was with the payment machine not working at check in but that was resolved with a phone call. Room had everything required and was clean.

Lovely small tasteful apartment
The entrance is through a (very good) restaurant with a vending machine check-in. Very efficient. The room I had was a good size and double aspect. The decor was modern and tasteful. The kitchen is in a cupboard and well equipped despite is size. Everything was clean and orderly.

The appartment itsself was lovely although not serviced during our stay. The entrace is after you have entered a bar? No signage to let you know is was part of the appartments and no pre arrival instructions. We only noticed the check in kiosk as the patrons of the bar moved and then we spotted in from the street. We arrived late 12.20am check in kiosk took us about 10 mins to work out... so be warned its really not signposted there were many roaming the streets as no one was expecting tbat the entrance would be inside a bar

It would have been good to be informed there would be no one to talk too on arrival, that everything would be done electronically, We requested breakfast via email long before the 6pm cut off time the day before which did not arrive on the day. Nice location 2 bus stops from National Theatret station, which connects to everything including the airport. Nice quiet neighborhood with shop and cafes. Very close and walkable to Vikeland Park which is highly recommended. The delivered breakfast package is very nice as is the on-site free laundry. Splurge for a balcony room if you can. Aside from whatever view you have, you gain much light, extra space, and fresh air. The self check-in is very easy and includes An English language option. We would definitely return.

I still did not like the cleanliness of the room. It was awful and it was difficult to shower because of it. Frogner House still do not have air conditioning. Opening the window does not help in the heat of day when the sun shines in your window, no matter what they say! Next time I’ll find somewhere else to stay.
