Nice hotel in Oslo with great staff

Posted Aug 4, 2014
My husband and I stopped over for a night. The young gentleman at the reception was very efficient and helpful. Room was too small but we loved the breakfast.

Nice Hotel, good location, good breakfast!

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Great staff, free breakfast, good location.
Location: Near Karl Johan's gate and very close to the Palace. A simple 10 minute walk to the Byogdoy ferries.
The Rica G20 is located in a great spot of Oslo. It was easy to find and easy to get to from the trainstation (about a 15 minute walk). The staff was very pleasant and always helpful. Even the person cleaning our room was extremely nice. The Rica offers free breakfast, which is great if you're penny pinching in expensive Norway. The chef was very nice and the food was a standard continental breakfast, with a few local things added in. The room was a little small, but we expected that when we booked and knew what we were getting from the pictures. The bathroom was very clean and felt new. Overall the hotel was a good hotel and I'd definitely stay here again.

Ok hotel

Posted Jun 1, 2014
The location of the hotel is perfect. It is very central in the area with lots of shops and cafes. The hotel is new, however I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. Our room was dusty and the floor has not been cleaned properly. I didnt ask to chamge the room ad we only stayed ine noght. Our bathroom smelt of drain. The bed is too soft, it was a bit like sleeping on trampoline.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Oslo

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness and overall atmosphere of the hotel.
Cons: Nothing--Everything was perfect!
Location: The location was ideal. It's only a few minutes walk to the main shopping area in Oslo and central if you're looking to walk to the historical sites.
I had a wonderful time staying at Rica Hotel G20 while I vacationed in Oslo. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all very friendly. Checking in was easy and quick and my hotel room was pristine. I had a gorgeous view of the streets of Oslo right out my floor to ceiling windows, which was great. Best part: The breakfast. Trust me, it'll turn you into a morning person.
