“Excellent location and breakfast”

The hotel is part of a shopping centre which has the central station. The bus station is also a 10min walk away. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel. However, the rooms are quite small. In saying that, it is as big as you need for a room you only sleep in.

Very Clean, well run and staff do all they can to treat you right. I would stay there again anytime as I was definitely impressed with everything. Right in the heart of downtown Oslo close to shopping and nightlife. Two minute walk to Karl Johan St. with all the nightlife you could ask for. easy access from the airport in Oslo by train and inexpensive too. First class operation and location.

reasonably priced and you can help offset Oslo's high prices by making the most of the included breakfast buffet and hitting up the pizza buffet (same adjacent restaurant but not included in room rate) later.

“great choice”

adjacent to the central railway station close to everything. Hotel is at the east end of Karl Johans gate, which seems to be the main tourist street in oslo. Royal castle is at the west end of Karl Johans gate (street) and is an easy walk from the hotel. Very easy to get tram, bus or train. Area appeared very safe and clean at all times. We arrived at 7 am and one of the front desk staff suggested waiting until about 12 noon to check in. As soon as this person moved away, and I talked to other person, and she immediately gave us a room. If rooms are available hotel would not loose anything by giving the reserved room early. The included breakfast at the adjacent 'Egon' resturant is excellent. They also gave us packed breakfasts to go when we left before breakfast time. Wireless internet is free. I used it to upload local maps and gps data to iphone.

Arrived very late due to the weather - but reception was still manned by avery friendly and helpful staff member. The room was very clean, and was an excellent size. Not much of a view, but that's neither here nor there. The amenties in the hotel itself (shop, restaurant, bar) were fine. The location was very convenient - above the railway station, and only 200 metres from Karl Johans Gate. It is also just across the road from Oslo City, a multi-storey indoor shopping mall. Highly recommend the hotel for anyone wanting a good base from which to explore Oslo.

“Great Hotel & Location”

Hotel was located directly next to the Oslo Centralstation and was easy to get to. Perfect for taking a trip out of town the next morning as we did. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included in the room rate and is amazing, nothing like anythingn offered in the USA. Amost didn't need lunch after filling up on the breakfast. Definately would stay there again. It's also very convenient to the main shopping and restaurant street and the attractions.

“Great hotel for the money in super-expensive Oslo”

Very nice hotel for the money, especially in super-expensive Oslo. The breakfast was superb, a very good idea to load up on breakfast in the morning and save yourself a little money later. A great location, right at central station (Oslo S) and Karl Johan's Gate. Would definitely recommend.
