Adequate but there are better hotels.

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Huge bed. Clean room. quiet location.
Cons: There are no complimentary toiletries. If you want anything like that you have to go to reception and ask for it.
Location: Very close to Junction 40 of the M1, but a couple of miles or so from the centre of Wakefield. Good pub/carvery restaurant at Silkwood close by.
This is a pleasent hotel which was in a convenient location for me. What little dealings I had with staff (receptionists) were friendly but they were not aware that I had already paid Expedia for the booking. I was also shocked when I tried to book in during the morning, rather than after 2pm, to find this carried a £20 surcharge.

The hotel is situated in a quiet location

I had a great stay, but what I don't like is the single mattresses which I slept on with my partner. They are a nightmare.

Good all rounder

The hotel staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay; check in and a visit to the restaurant and bar. The only downside on the room was that the double bed was two singles zipped together so there was a slight dip in the middle! This wasn't too much of a problem and didn't interrupt sleep. The local pub was horrific so we ate at the restaurant and the food was all cooked fresh to perfection. It's on an industrial estate so there isn't a great deal to walk to but it's clean, comfortable and very new inside. I'd highly recommend this hotel and its restaurant.

Ease access to motorway

Stayed here for a night after work so could go to a gig in Leeds. Ease to find, close to Leeds, Wakefield, Kirklees and motorway. Clean and really big king size bed.

Good hotel would stay again

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: The public areas and rooms were very clean and well presented. Plenty of Free Parking.
Location: On the outskirts of Wakefield with excellent access to motorways and major roads. Easy to get to places of interest.
We had stayed at this hotel previously when it was under the Days Hotel Brand. It has now become a Ramada Hotel. They have improved the Reception, Bar and Resteraunt areas. We were happy with it as a Days Hotel and the improvements have made it better. Would stay again.

All good. Staff were friendly. Room was very comfortable. I didn't use any other hotel facilities (dining or wifi).
