"welcome to the country"
ok, i'm from the "island". my son is a student at SUNY Oswego. I've been lucky enough to stay at some pretty nice places over the years. I gave this survey a 5 or excellent on every category not because the rooms are furnished with exquisite furniture, Jacuzzi tubs or 50" plasma televisions. but rather the country home feel along with cleanliness made our stay exceptional. most noteworthy are the proprietors - they literally went out of there way to accommodate us..........thank you

This is really a nice little place with a lot of charm. My room was perfect. Walking distance to a lot of places however ample parking in the side lot.

Pocket Guide: St. Lawrence Seaway Oswego Independent Hotels

This port city sits upon Lake Ontario and is 40 minutes outside of Syracuse and a 3-hour ride from Niagara Falls. The summer months are fruitful in fishing, and the music of the annual Harborfest, and the farmers' markets, lush with handmade crafts and locally-grown goods, make for a relaxing visit to this city with a small town heart.
