Quiet and nice place

Posted Nov 25, 2014
We stayed one night and found the room comfortable and very clean. The housekeeper was in the room upon arrive to greet us and made sure everything was okay in there. I found the room very quiet almost sound proof. Which I liked. Staff were friendly. We Would stay there again.

Great central location in Ottawa.

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: Location, reasonable rates, cleanliness, and friendly staff.
Cons: All good.
Location: Close to Parliament buildings and museums. Close to shopping and the canal.
Always a pleasant stay. staff are courteous and helpful. rooms are clean and comfortable. We tried the lounge for the first time this stay, and found the staff friendly and attentive. The finger foods with our drinks were well presented, reasonably priced, and delicious.

Chill hotel in a great area

Posted Nov 9, 2014
It was good. Bed was awesome. Stayed at the Ritz once and the beds at Arc were far better. Restaurant food mediocre. No mini fridge in room. Staff fairly attentive. Decent decor. Location fantastic. Everything always smelled good and was clean. Wicked shower head.

Close to everything in city.

Only there for one night but it was excellent. The only recommendation would be to keep the lounge open to 11:30 or 12:00. A 10:45 closing after a long day cuts it kind of close.

Very convenient and comfortable; helpful staff

The experience was very good throughout, from a quick easy check in through an amazingly comfy bed, quick room service and an excellent breakfast. The complimentary newspaper is a nice touch.

Arc...a Nostalgic feel

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: All staff were excellent; service was great. The rooms were very clean, the beds, sheets and pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: House maids a little less intrusive,(walked in on us). Remodel those bathrooms with bigger tubs. A point form list of coffee, restaurants etc in area
Location: The Market place, Parliament, Sports hall of Fame, choice of eateries and coffee shops, are all easily accessible by foot.
Three of us stayed at the ARC and found that it was well situated, just a few blocks from the Parliament area. Valet service was necessary because there was no where to park and I've never seen so many one way streets in my life. We were very busy working while in Ottawa so we didn't spend a whole bunch of time in the motel itself.

Perfect for my needs - wished I could stay longer.

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: The bedding.
Cons: Parking was free on the street, otherwise I'd have had to pay $30/night to park.
Location: Right downtown. Near everything you want in the Capital.
The room was SO perfect. SO comfortable. I wanted to move in and stay. The lobby was delightful. They have the most delicious air freshener, it makes you feel great as you walk in to the space. Very simple and modern decor with very helpful staff at the desk. Welcoming.
