Pros: quiet hotel. clean rooms. friendly staff.
Location: location within walking distance of Byward market, Parliament bldgs., etc.
We came to see the museums and eateries of Ottawa, and this proved to be a quiet hotel located within walking distance of most of the downtown attractions. My wife and I would both definately stay her again.

quaint hotel. great location.

Pros: We chose this hotel for it's location to the Byward Market area and we were not disappointed. Didn't need the car at all.
Cons: If they consider new floor covering, carpeting would be a good idea. We could hear the person above walking around in her heels.
Location: Byward Market area. Great place to walk around, lots of choices for meals.
We arrived in late afternoon and were very pleased to learn that afternoon tea was being served. It was just what was needed after a long drive. Continental breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices. good food.

Great rate and fantastic location.

Posted Mar 3, 2015
Pros: Best included hotel breakfast I have had in a long time.
Cons: Hotel has a slightly run down appearance and staff are not at front desk all the time. Rooms are a little stark.
Location: This hotel is right by the market - a fantastic place to eat and/or shop for food.
Wonderful hot breakfast AND afternoon tea if you happened to be in the hotel between 3 and 5. Good internet and well equipped rooms with microwave, fridge, dishes, dish washing facilities, robes, etc. etc. Excellent value
