Close to Parliament building and restaurants

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: The room is big. The Hotel is very close to everything.
Cons: The elevators should be improved. The room smell should be fresh.
Location: The location is very good and everything is close to walk.
The parking is a challenge. The elevator is slow and noisy. The room smell is like a smoking room. The bath is very small.

Great location, dated.

Pros: Location
Overall the hotel looks nice and is inviting and clean. The A/C however barely did what it was supposed to do and made a terribly obnoxious loud noise and sounded like it was going to burst at any time. It kept us up at night. The room was also very humid. On very hot days, these are terribly inconvenient problems.

Nice close to downtown.

Parking is limited. You have to leave a set of car keys to the hotel so that they can shuffle cars around. They were nice about it, however it was a little inconvenient. Other than that, the rooms were good, the beds comfy and the staff was nice.

Nice hotel in a convenient location

Clean rooms, but washrooms could have been a little better. Great value given the excellent location.

Right in the downtown core.

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Parking lot is inconvenient. You have to drive around the corner to get to the parking and cars have to be double parked
Location: parliament very close by, the Bymarket is also a short cab ride away
Good location. Decent hotel. Close to Parliament, Inside was clean and beds were very comfortable. Rooms are larger than most hotel rooms I've stayed in for the same price.

Dated and musty old hotel

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Hotel had a nice lobby but the elevators, hallways, and rooms smell dank and musty. Outdated bathrooms and very little accomodations in rooms and otherwise. Good area, close to shopping/dining.

Great, close to the parliment grounds

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Central location, very nice hotel, great rates, good service
Cons: For what our hotel rates were, during Canada Day week the hotel rooms were very nice
Location: Parliment grounds, canal tours, Norte Dame cathedral, War Mueseum, national Art museum Canada Day Celebrations , restaurants
LOVED Ottawa, our hotel was right there, close to everything, it was wonderful!
