Over priced and just plain bad

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Not much. To be honest, hotel staff were okay.
Cons: A whole lot.
Terrible front entrance. No elevator. Small breakfast area. Terrible location. Way too pricey. Anything else you need to know?

We stayed in a 2 double bed room, it was a bit cramped and did not have a microwave even though the staff said there should have been one. Breakfast was a little dry, room was fairly clean.

Pros: The rooms and the included free breakfast.
Cons: Nothing ... it's well located for both car an public transit.
Location: Lots of good and reasonably priced restaurants in close proximity
Rooms were comfortable, spotless and well maintained.

Terrible location. Exterior needs major upgrade.

Posted May 3, 2014
Staff on check in were nice. Assistant manager upon check out did not want to issue receipt. When customer insisted the computers crashed. The exterior of the hotel was in need of upgrade. The window in my room was cracked. The hotel room door did not lock

Under Construction!

The complimentary breakfast didn't start till 6:30 am. My work day starts at 6:30 and the breakfast would better accommodate people were it to start earlier. The exhaust fan in the bathroom sounded like an old diesel engine. I unplugged it for the duration of my stay. The lady at the front desk (in a make-shift hotel room) seemed I convenience every time I passed through, almost as if I woke her up. All things considered, once the renos are complete, it should be back to a good night's stay.

limited choices with a dog!

Posted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: The courtesy of the reception...
Cons: get cleaning staff who know what clean and fresh mean...
Location: the location is great walking distance to restos and shopping centre
The staff reception is super polite and patient and calm and collected. We had a few issues. Within minutes from checking out our power went out. He immediately corrected the problem. Later on we pulled the covers down and the sheets were uncleaned and recently stained. He immediately brought clean sheets and apologized. The hotel reeks of smoke in the hallways. The rug smells of dog urine. The toilet was uncleaned and messed up from the previous stay. We were very disappointed because we had stayed there before a few years and it was fine. There were no screens on the patio doors so we had to block the door with a chair to keep the dog in. The smell was nauseating so the door had to remain open most of the time. We had to put up with it and count our blessings since there were no other hotel that would accept a dog in the area.

Pros: Location.....
Cons: complete renovations, and rather than having people wait in the main lobby for the breakfast, there should be a room made available so you can sit .
Location: really didnt stay around the hotel for anything other than sleep!
firstly i booked early enough to insure that i would get a ground floor room to ensure accomdating our pet, only to discover at check in that it was impossible too. then to realize that they put us in the middle of the building in between 2 exits again no room available closer to the stairs. finally the continental breakfast was the deal breaker, nothing pleasing to the patette! the hotel needs to update everything, the rugs in the hallways look like they have been used to run a road race with dark marks everwhere! Bed had a sinkhole on the one side terrible stay overall if i had had an opportunity to move hotels i would have............
