“Great location and price for a weekend hotel”

This hotel was perfect for our visit to Ottawa over the weekend. It is walking distance to all of Ottawa's big attractions including the Market, Rideau Centre and Canal. Parliament is also close. This isn't a glitzy hotel by any means, but with free parking and the location, it was perfect for our trip. Staff was awesome as well. Would definitely stay here again!

“Great hotel for everyone”

Very good hotel, located in center of Ottawa, close to Parlament, National Gallery and ect. Excellent servis, very clean, comfortable, cheap parking.I would advise to everyone.

“Comfort”

The hotel is located in a convenient spot in Ottawa. I do not regret I have chosen it. The staff are pleasant people. However, it's a pity it does not offer complementary breakfast.

“Excellent hotel in the heart of Ottawa”

Quality hotel in the heart of Ottawa. 5-7 minute walking distance includes access to: the mall, awesome nightclubs and nightlife, Byward Market, Parliament Hill, and the Rideau Canal. Staff was superb and helpful in every way - very amiable people. Room service was great. Ultimately you can't go wrong with the price and location. It's a great franchise. Beds are comfortable and room was standard. Would definitely stay here again

ood location hotel, good for the price you pay. Staff nice. Cheap but nice hotel.

“Not so good”

Bad smeell into the room. People talking, shouting and making jokes to 0200 AM in front of my door (aisles) and from 0530 AM again. Means, we couldnt sleep. Location is good, even the neighbourhood is not so good. Close to downtown and easy to get it.

“Needs a facelift”

This hotel is do for a thorough cleaning, a more modern and welcoming lobby, and new hallway carpeting. At the very least, the halls should be vacuumed thoroughly. The sidewalk and road are under repair, so wear sensible shoes.

“Convenience”

This hotel was great due to its proximity to the Byward Market and many other attractions in Ottawa, and because it had free parking for the duration of your stay (parking is a bonus in Ottawa). It had a laundry room which is nice, and the staff seemed friendly enough, and helpful. However the building needs a bit of an update. I personally wanted to rent a steam cleaner and do the carpets. The lighting is dim/dingie, the carpeting is covered in stains and looks like it has years of dirt built up in it, the wallpaper was old and had tears and holes, and you could hear the people in the neighbouring rooms talking even. If you are just looking for a place to crash for a couple of nights while you are checking out Ottawa then it's a good place to stay for the convenience (everything is within walking distance)...if you are picky about decor and ambiance, then maybe you should look elsewhere.
