“Centrally located, great service”

the room was large & confortable. The hotal was very central to downtown & tourist spots. The staff was all friendly & helpful. The only small complaint is regarding the selection at breakfast. But everyyhing else was great for the price. Would go back in a heartbeat.

“Great Value! Except skip the breakfast!”

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel given the price. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to Byward Market and Parliament though there were restaurants, bars and stores closer to the hotel. The parking was free and easy and the hotel gave us an upgrade on our room because when we arrived at 1:00 (2 hours before check-in) they only had a slightly nicer room ready. The front desk staff was great, very accommodating and helpful. The one bad thing about the hotel was the continental breakfast. It was definitely the WORST continental breakfast I have ever seen. There were 2 kinds of plain cereal, some stale pastries and breads, and some dry oranges. One of the milk jugs they had out had definitely gone bad. When another patron told the woman managing the breakfast she obviously did not speak English or French and she dumped out and replaced the wrong milk, leaving the rancid one. With the hotel being so cheap I would suggest staying here but going somewhere else for breakfast, like the Tim Horton's directly across the street.

“Pleasant Stay”

Reasonably priced, solid hotel. No frills, but attentive staff and clean rooms. No fee for parking, which many Ottawa hotels charge. Easy to get to. Hotel has limited food service and there is no good restaurant that is close by. There are 2 malls within easy driving distance, however. For being in a downtown area, hotel is quiet. Overall, it exceeded my expectations.

“Decent...”

Decent hotel, if you don't mind a bit of a hike you can walk to all the major attractions in the city.

“Nice hotel, close enough to walk to downtown attractions.”

This hotel was nice, nothing about it scared me into not wanting to sleep in my bed or eat the food at their continental breakfast. The hotel was close enough to walk to the downtown bars and stuff if you don't mind a decent walk(20 mins). Seemed to be in a nice part of the city as well.
