My daughter had a gymnastics competition in Gatineau early on Saturday so we got to the hotel on Friday evening. We opened the door to our room and, wow, one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Separate room with two beautiful queen-sized beds, gorgeous living room with flat screen TV, a kitchen that was almost as nice as the one we have at home.
We watched some hockey, I went upstairs and had a workout in the gym (a hotel gym, yes, but way better than any other hotel gym I've ever used), watched some TV and hit the hay.
We had to speak to staff about getting our wifi access code and getting a wakeup call the next morning. Both times, the person (I think it was the same gentleman) on the other end of the phone was so friendly. Same thing when we checked out the next morning -- the guy at the desk was super friendly. We chatted a bit about gymnastics.
My wife, my daughter and I all said the same thing - we wished we'd have had a longer stay at the hotel.

The location of the b&b was perfect, all the major sites are within walkable distance. The house was nice and clean. The host was very knowledgeable and he gave us a lot of uselful tips. Breakfast was delicious too.

Was very good - the staff were great, the complimentary breakfast was more than adequate. The building and rooms are old but not a problem when you're getting what's effectively an apartment for that price.

The room was very clean, comfortable and well appointed, and very quiet even though we were near the elevators. . The exercise room/gym was well equipped and maintained, and the pool area provided a separate section for our young grandchildren. The only drawback was the location of the indoor pool - it had to be accessed through the gym change rooms and down a somewhat drab hallway & staircase. The food available was well prepared and while not inexpensive was available at a cost expected, given the overall nature of the hotel. Overnight parking was only available in an underground parking area for which there was an additional charge. The reception staff was most helpful in addressing our questions.

I really enjoyed the pick-up ride from the airport; the courteous staff at the font desk and the great customer service acumen of the guys in the main restaurant. Got to buy some long sought after items from the AFRICAN store across.

Stayed for a short night after watching the Nutcracker Show just across the street at the Centre National des Arts. Located right downtown, I loved the short walk to the theater and loved the warmth and the soul of this hotel! Enjoyed the delicious meal at the hotel we had for dinner. And above all... was priced very fairly, This is also where the ballet dancers were staying during the period of the show!
