Closed - right before Canada Day Long Weekend!!!!Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: nothing - so mad at them
Cons: They could have though logistically about the date - It is Canada Day!!! At least wait until after the rush of visitors!
Location: it is closed now. Go to Albert at Bay! Better suites and excellent service, and a welcome gift with games for kids!!
Brutal! We booked a few suites here as we had a lot of family coming into town for the big Canada day long weekend. We wanted the suites to have bedrooms and extra bathrooms, along with a kitchen and dinning room and family room. I called the hotel to confirm the rooms only to be told that they were closed. They didn't even call us to tell us. We had to scramble to find rooms - FOR CANADA DAY IN THE NATION'S CAPITAL!!!! In the end, our families were spread out around Ottawa as we were unable to find rooms for all of us at the same hotel. As a result, our family reunion ended up being a flop. Minto doesn't care, but I would love for them to realize that this was a very poorly handled situation. They ruined an event that had been planned for a very long time!

Good stay hotelPosted Jun 5, 2014
Location: It's close to Parliament and the Ottawa river.
The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Well worth the money compare to some other same rating hotels.

Pros: PRIME 360 was great both for food and service. Our waiter ( 103 Rob G ) made it special. Many thanks.
I had requested flowers in the room but they were not sent up until we arrived. Champagne never did arrive.

Gave us the room we needed, close to our business.Posted May 24, 2014
Pros: Enjoyed the space in the suite along with the service.
Cons: We were well satisfied except for the two elevators to and from the garage.
Location: The location was fine for our purposes.
Very good. We met as a family for a funeral and we were able to spend time together. A good gathering.

Minto disappointmentPosted May 23, 2014
Total dissapoinment. Was expecting a modern, up to date facility, but it felt like I went back to the early 90's. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of space and all the minimum necessities however, was very dissapointed for the $$$ paid.

Downtown hotel within easy walking distancePosted May 12, 2014
Pros: It was conveniently located downtown within easy walking distance of Parliament, Museums, Byward Market, Shopping, etc.
An easy relaxing stay. Half-business/half-pleasure. Comfortable room with good space and amenities for work.

I wish you weren't closing!Posted May 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
How disturbing, after finding such a welcoming and beautiful environment in Ottawa, to discover that the building is being converted into condos! This development is a great loss for those of us who love to visit Ottawa and would have wanted to make this location a regular stopover 'home away from home'!!!
