We loved the access to the quiet, beautiful beach. The property is well maintained. It was a bit noisy for our family. We could hear the conversations in the rooms next to ours and the loud walking back and forth above us. It was difficult to sleep. But, it worked in a pinch.

Property is beautiful. View from room spectacular. But little things like waiting 20 minutes for transport of luggage to our room which was difficult to find and uphill a 10-12 minutes walk with our luggage was awful. Add to that, I go to get a shower, no shower curtain. Try to call desk, room phone doesn’t work. I had a spreadsheet with hotels and info, luckily the phone # was there. Nowhere in info was there a number. We were told they probably don’t have an extra shower curtain. 15 minutes later, someone comes to the door, hands my husband a bag with a shower curtain. We had to hang it. For such a lovely property, management is poor, and I want some of my fee back.

The property is beautiful. It is nested inside a canopy of trees and walking trails, and ocean views. Quiet and restful place to stay.

Beautiful ocean view! Very quiet and plenty of walking around the grounds, which we like. Restaurant was not open but plenty restaurants in all the nearby towns!

This is a beautiful, secluded property. However, if you have any sort of mobility issues, it’s going to be very difficult to maneuver around easily. The property does offer transportation from their parking lot to your room. However, it’s slightly more inconvenient after hours. The restaurant was a huge disappointment, and apparently they are run separately from the actual accommodation. The food on the menu was lackluster at best and they mostly sold pizzas. It’s extremely dated, but I bet the views were nice if we had ended up dining there. We opted to go further into Newport for seafood. the staff were pleasant and helpful. Landscaping was beautiful and I had opted for a room with an ocean view. Once inside the room, I noticed it was partial ocean view. I can’t say that I would stay here again.

Angelina, I'm sorry you were not satisfied with your stay. We offer the bell service 7am-10pm weekdays and 7am-11pm weekends for our guests convenience. The restaurant is a separate business, and he operates on his own scheduling. I'm happy you were able to find a good place for dinner in Newport! If at any time you choose to stay with us again and are for some reason not satisfied with your room, please contact us at the desk and we will do our best to move you rooms or upgrade you to a better view if available. Calling us directly is also a better option to guarantee satisfaction with your room and the view it offers. Thank you for staying with us!

Pictures of the property on its own website are not even remotely like the rooms in real life. Smaller, completely different/ missing amenities. Different furniture, different bathroom fixtures (i.e. stand up showers vs. tub enclosures) The pictures online show full kitchens, in actuality, it is a microwave balanced on top of a mini fridge. Horribly misleading.

Hi Jeff,Sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us.I do want to let you know that we are a unique property and all the rooms are indivudally own by different owners so not all the rooms have the same decor etc.Also we do have kitchen units so the pictures are not misleading, you just booked a standard bedroom (with no kitchen) our website clearly states which rooms have kitchens and which ones don't. Thanks for staying with us and again sorry to hear about your troubles.

We’ve been staying at this property off and over for the last 25-years. There is a big difference in quality between some of the rooms. You may wish to inquire if you are reserving a remodeled and updated room. The on-site restaurant remains open only sporadically.

There was plenty of parking and the bellmen and housekeepers were very helpful. The pool yard and hot tub were great, and the locker room/showers were in good working order. Our room was nice and we had a patio and a nice view of the ocean. The restaurant was not open during our stay, which was ok with us. Agate hunting on the beach was a real treat and while the weather was a bit chilly, we had planned for rain and brought rain gear and rubber boots. There wasn't a kitchen, but we had a small fridge in the unit, and we planned for that too, by bringing an electric skillet, which allowed us to cook many meals without having to go out all the time. The beaches and tide pools were amazing and the agate hunting was so much fun. We will definitely try to get back.

Extremely beautiful, great staff, but I booked an ocean view king room, and was bummed to find out it was a shared balcony. Was really looking forward to the private space. I wished they advised that.

The property is beautiful and quiet, staff is nice but the beds were rock hard and both my daughter and I had pain and discomfort from sleeping on them. The remote controls (3 of them) were confusing and or didn't work. Also not enough blankets. Should be better for how much they are charging.
