Hotel under renovation

Only semi decent hotel on the island- Not up to modern standards though. Awful TV system and the internet situation is even worse- Pool now closed for months. Noisy air conditioners and mold in the showers and dirty floors.Always some sign posted that the restaurant is closed for this or that or the ATM doesn't work. Id be happy if they had more than one toaster that worked and if they actually had eggs when others in town had them.

Wish there was an alternative

Its the best hotel on the island but..... Internet almost unusable. TV system painfully inadequate-Limited channels and always quality problems-Staff helpful the best they can but silly basic things that need updating.Management has no reason to care when its a monopoly. Doing a pool area renovation that's scheduled for 4-5 months.How about fixing the basics..

Best Hotel on the Island without ocean view

Cons: Internet in the rooms surely is a MUST
Location: island to small you have access to all, but there is new supermarket walking distance from the hotel is really great
First and the most, if you are going for business and you need Wi-Fi that will be challenging as such is not available in the room, even if you will to buy the prepaid Internet access, yes you need to prepay it it is NOT for free as they advertise. the only place to access internet and for free will be the lobby but you will be with all others whom are trying to do the same :-( Second, the staff are amazing and will compensate for your internet frustration. it is unfortunate when an island is only 17 miles in length and less then a 1 mile in wide, livable, and you can see the ocean from any room of your hotel :-( gym, restaurant, bar and cafe are great
