Cons: Really missed the tea/coffee facilities. Were most surprised. I understand you have to ask for it.
Location: Great. Lots of nice shops.

Handy, dandy, clean and quiet.Posted Jul 11, 2012
Pros: Free parking, helpful staff, clean, modern furnishings, reasonably priced.
Cons: Snug, but adequate, room size.
Location: Very near ground transportation, downtown businesses, market square, waterfront, parks & cathedral.
Very handy location downtown. Easy access to trains, buses and major highways. We drove and found the free hotel off-street parking a plus. The Hotel was quiet, the elevator useful with heavy suitcases. We walked from the hotel through the walking streets & creekside parks to the waterfront with its market square, restaurants, and boat moorages. We stayed an extra night. Breakfast was well-stocked & good. A mix of families, couples, and singles were present while we were there. I regret not taking a photo of the classic black Volvo sedan from the 1940's parked in front of the Hotel! While the rooms were basic and compact, even the small bathroom with a swing-out shower wall worked well. We were completely satisfied and would most certainly stay here again, and recommend this to our friends. Two hotel loaner bicycles are a plus for people who ride.

Really friendly staff and a sense that they were looking after your comfort . Service and access to free tea, coffee and some snacks available at all times. Felt very much like being at home and no silly rules.
