Great staff, nice hotelPosted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: The hotel is certainly old and nothing fancy but the staff is amazing. They really make you feel like your a visitor in their home.
Cons: The hotel is certainly old and nothing fancy but the staff is amazing. They really make you feel like your a visitor in their home.
Location: Right on the beach. Can't beat that!
The hotel is certainly old and nothing fancy but the staff is amazing. They really make you feel like your a visitor in their home. The rooms are small and nothing special but they were clean and the maid service was responsive. I would recommend this hotel to friends or family.

It's close to the beachPosted Sep 1, 2014
Super small rooms and not worth the price. Look elsewhere to get a better bang for your buck

OK Hotel, Beachfront was only nice thing.Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Close to beach
Cons: Remodel entire hotel
Location: Next to beach, many restaurants nearby, Wright Brothers national park very close by.
Only nice thing was the beach was about 100ft outside the hotel. Room was very tiny, could barely fit our family of 4. Bathroom did not have a tub, only shower. Bathroom had mildew on the tile. Drywall was peeling/falling apart, outlets were not attached to drywall. Building had musty stinky smell everywhere. Carpets needed to be replaced. Definitely will not be staying here again.

Quick fix to room problemPosted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Very nice staff, free breakfast, free snacks, convenient to everything.
Cons: Some updating
Location: Everything is within 10 miles, from shopping to fishing.
When we arrived our room was alot smaller than we had thaught it was going to be, we slept in it the first night but found it to be too cramped for two people. We said somethinfg to the staff in the morning and they quickly found us another room nearly twice the size with no price increase. The room was clean and comfortable, could use some updating, but all things considered, it was a nice place to stay.

Decent stay for the pricePosted Aug 13, 2014
Overall good value for the price vs. others in the area. Nice piece of beachfront, it's wide with lots of space. Pool is ok, a bit worn but water was clean. The rooms were about as expected in price range, the bed was old and you could feel the springs..the room was clean were you could see but if you look behind the curtains and such there was heavy dust and dirt. The staff was great and very pleasant.

Hotel was close to the beach.Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: It was close to the beach.
Cons: Honesty about peoples thing that may be left behind.
Location: Beach and shopping.
We left some high dollar bathing suits on the back of the bathroom and called them and they would not look for us. House keeping must have took them. We live 4 hours away and realized this half way home. Not happy with the hotel staff on this issue.

Great location and amenities, not the cleanestPosted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Decent breakfast, free popcorn and cookies for guests anytime. Nice location right on the beach.
Cons: Our room had a LOT of hair all over the bathroom floor and in the shower drain when we arrived. Beds seemed clean but the floors made me feel sick.
Location: Beach right out the door, sand volleyball court and pool right there. Restaurants would be a little farther walk or drive.
We stayed here for two nights and it was one of the best values we found of all the hotels in the Outer Banks. This place is nothing fancy, but if you're on a vacation you shouldn't be staying in your hotel all day anyway!

Save your money and go elsewherePosted Aug 7, 2014
Close to the beach, rooms were super tiny, bathroom was disgusting, sink was broken. Had a wonderful view of the parking lot, room didn't even have a balcony. The hotel is old and in disrepair. Would never go back again.
