Room and bathroom were fine but could hear a lot of noise and felt very overlooked by rooms opposite. also junk area below when looking out of window which wasn't nice.

The heating was not working properly and the room was freezing. Complained to reception and was told they had two heaters ,but unfortunately they had been given to other guests. Offered to send up some blankets to wrap ourselves up with. Not very good.

Great food, so so accommodation and service.
Maybe I made a mistake but I thought I'd booked a double room with a double bed. We got an accessible room with twin beds and a disabled persons bathroom! However the beds were comfortable and the room was clean, tidy and warm. The food on offer was very good, with a massive choice at breakfast, and the evening restaurant also provided either an al a carte menu or carvery/buffet style hot food. The staff were a mixed bag. One gentleman was very friendly and we chatted for some time about Lewis and local attractions etc. Others were perhaps too busy and we had to ask for a few things like milk for our tea, juice glasses, salt and pepper etc. On site parking was very good. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite the shortcomings.

Everything was nice. Staff was very accommodating. Wasn't aware it was a handicap room.... Floor flooded from the shower and the shower head would not stay up high, kept sliding down... Had to keep pushing it up... Great location

Great central hotel
This is a 3 star hotel but it has a fabulous restaurant. Lovely friendly staff. And great service. I stayed 3 nights in June 2023. Had a lovely double room. Buffet breakfast was good. Bar area is small but well stocked.

On a 2 night stay, they put me in a room without a window. I don't ever remember a room without a window. They moved me the next day but the second room was more tired than the first. The breakfast was OK but felt a bit like a canteen. Good parking area but overall very dissapointed.

Convenient
Our room was nice and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant was great for breakfast but dinner was lacking in flavor. And the best part of this place is that it has an elevator!

Stayed in the skylight single rooms which were OK but could be made better for a small amount of investment. Clean the skylight top, fit perpex near the top of the "chimney" to diffuse the light/give more noise insulation. Put a blackout blind across the bottom. It'd be an interesting experience for tourists who want to experience summer daylight hours without direct sunlight hitting the window.

The staff were very kind and went out of their way to be helpful, the food was very good and the room was nice, big and very clean. Lewis is a great island to explore and all its inhabitants were very friendly.

I spent one night while visiting to see Callanish. A quick walk from the ferry with plenty of parking. Very clean and quiet. The breakfast and dinner at Eleven are very good! I even came back down 90min after I had dinner to get a slice of cake to take back to my room and they were super helpful.

Welcome excellent. Staff in all areas well informed and confident. Uncomfortable bed 1 st night and were upgraded without question. The rooms were immaculate and bar area did friendly even for meals.

Large rooms and great breakfast. Enjoyed the skylight and how much space we had in a double room. If ever in Stornaway again we will definitely be back.

I never knew single rooms with windows were a thing anymore - whilst it was clean, compact and bijou come to mind. Apart from a skylight, the room was hot & stuffy and fairly uncomfortable to”try” and sleep in. Breakfast was a free for all, with mass queuing around the buffet passé - they’re could of been a bit better organisation.
