Be aware of the fact that besides the build in stuff you will not find anything. No plates, no pan, no fork, knives, spoon...also it is not possible to borrow any at the hotel. With my friend we went to the shopping center (west part of city, called 44/45 or so, aprox. 20 mts by walk) and we spend just 20 euros in the penny markets there on everything we needed for the stay and usege of the kitchen.

With the exception of some ridiculous delays between ordering and receiving our evening meals in the restaurant, our experience at the Hotel Couture can only be described as excellent. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and well fitted-out and the bathrooms are similarly well designed with the added benefit of a walk-in shower.
The reception staff are obliging, helpful and efficient and a great advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the No 2 tramline with a stop about 50m from the front door.
The relatively modest room rates probably reflect the hotel's distance from the centre of Amsterdam and should not be taken as a reflection on the quality of the hotel or its facilities.
