Well located for the main amenities, old town and loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Very helpful staff and some good advice on late night food availability.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast buffet selection was very good. Location was GREAT, walkable to all sites. The entire lobby area was carpeted, with the elevators located about two steps down. Don’t know if they have moisture issue, or if they just need to replace a soiled carpet, but there was a distinct, strong, dank, cloying odor by the elevators very noticeable in spite of an obvious air freshener scent. Other than that, the facilities were very clean. We enjoyed our stay. No free parking, they offer discounted parking (10€/day a block away).

Check in process was quick even though staff seemed busy. Room was was spacious but since it faced the street, there were traffic snarls and LOTS of noise due to the fact that Oviedo was celebrating their annual fiestas. Hotel is centrally located and Worth every penny of their off season rates.

Needs some interior design love & a kinder crew
Excellent location. You can walk anywhere in oviedo from here. Decoration is sad, though. Worst: it's really loud. Our room was by the elevator and cleaning services. Constant noise--impossible to sleep through even with ear plugs. The room was really dark -- bad electrical lighting and the window faced a small enclosed space--kind of eerie. Cold reception. Nice, fancy bar, though. Found free street parking 15 minutes away.

Overall it was a nice stay. It’s very centrally locates between the old town area and the shopping district. The hotel is clean and modern. The bathroom was a quite large and the WiFi works well. The only down side is that you have to go up and down stairs to get to the elevator. Coming and going this is fine, but with luggage upon arrival and departure it’s a small hassle. But overall, a positive experience!

Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Breakfast options for Continental or full breakfast, which is an important option since my wife and I only have coffee and a bagel/bread in the morning. We don't do the full breakfast because it's too expensive, but the 5 Euros Continental option gives us the flexibility of staying in the hotel.

The hotel is in an excellent location very close to the historic centre of town and close to all the bars and restaurants. The hotel is a bit run down and has seen better days but the location makes up for the negatives. There was a very nice helpful young man at reception.

Nice hotel on edge of the old town centre.
This is an older, rather elegant building, with modernized interior. The room was very comfortable, and well sound-proofed against street noise. The old town is two minutes walk away. There is a relatively roomy parking garage under the hotel.

Wonderful hotel in heart of Oveido
This hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the bus station. It was a wonderful hotel - extremely clean, comfortable beds, modern but with features that gave it tremendous character - the hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. The hotel was only a few minutes walk from the University and from a wide variety of Asturian restaurants - excellent price for the rooms. The rooms were large, bathrooms great. We will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time we are in Oviedo

This is a perfect base for exploring the old town of Oviedo, situated just a short walk from the city's cathederal. The hotel itself was excellent, a small but well-furnished room, with a very comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom. There is a room service option, an minibar and an excellent breakfast buffet. If I return to Oviedo in the future, I will definitely stay here again.

Avoid. Pre-historic hotel, aircon was a trick.
This is the kind of hotel I always try to avoid. Somehow we did not realize of how old this was. Bathroom was horrible, dirty and shower head disgusting. Aircon was a total trick, just did not work or attempted to do anything. Slept terribly. Car park in hotel was also full so had to find somewhere else to park. Views of room were to the building next door. Also, eventhough they had lifts from the 80's there were stairs everywhere so avoid if carrying heavy suitcases. Only good thing: its location. AVOID!

Very well located for historic town centre making easy to come and go during the day when wandering around central area. Close to bars and restaurants and cathedral. Rooms good standard free wifi . Very good buffet breakfast if you take that option which I would recommend you do.

Friendly helpful service at this very nice hotel centrally located in Oviedo. The breakfast was overpriced but the wifi was free and worked. Rooms were pleasant and well kept with a very large bathroom. Good location right in the center of the city, easy enough to navigate to by car and then walk from hotel to dining, shopping, old part of town, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here before. Very good value for money but there were a few things in the room that needed attention - in this case, a light bulb and the air con. Free wifi worked fine but only supports one device at a time. I suspect there would be no problem getting a second voucher on request (I had to get a second having misplaced the first one anyway). We did not eat in the hotel as there are lots of places to eat nearby and it is only yards from Gascona where there are lots of restaurants. Had a pleasant drink in the Black Bar in the basement.

Decent hotel in the city center
On a car tour of Spain, we planned to stay here one night, but extended a second night; not for the hotel, but to better appreciate the lovely city of Oviedo. We were here in early March, off-season, but on a weekend. The hotel was moderately busy. Staff was friendly and helpful, but didn't seem to go out of their way to offer more. The room we stayed in was on the third floor, with a balcony over the street. We're heavy sleepers and weren't bothered by any street noise at night. The room was functional, not really up to date, but no real complaints. The bar/lounge was mostly abandoned. Parking was under the hotel and was a horror to navigate; totally inadequate, I imagine, during the busy season. (But this is normal for most Spanish cities.) The location was fabulous for the tourist--the cathedral about a block behind the hotel, a university about 3 blocks downhill, a calle peatonal running the length of downtown, ending at the train station. Actually, this hotel would be perfect for the tourist arriving on the train.

While the hotel room was pretty average, the bathroom was extremely large and nicely tiled in stone. The location was perfect, walking distance to parks, cathedral, city government, shopping, ciderias, and restaurants.
