Property wasnice under renovation and nice service prive was okay had no idea or notification about 100$ deposit and pool was cold and breakfast was put up before 11 we went down at 9:30

I had two concerns. 1. My room temperature was frigid. 2. The carpet in my room was sticky and turned the bottom of my feet black. Otherwise I had no issues. The breakfast was good. :)

The hotel is renovating some rooms. We had an executive king room which was remodeled and very nice. Comfortable bed nice big TV and was quiet. Hallways are wide but not renovated. Elevator always smelled like sewage. Lobby was fine. Parking lot was large with plenty of parking. Lots of construction right now at this exit. Food and gas stations nearby

The room was not that clean. The wall by the phone was dirty, the chair in the room was dirty, the lamp shade had water stains on it, and the lights in the bathroom had dead bugs in the light fixtures. The deadbolt wouldnt lock. We did love that its no smoking for the whole hotel.

This place is falling down and shabby. Viewed from my third floor, front-facing room, the super structure supporting its main sign was rusted and pitted, ready it appeared to collapse. The bed was just ok, the bedding was mix n match and so was the furniture. The staff barely spoke English and simple questions, when answered understandably, were one or two words in length. The Expedia-booked price I paid on-line was $20 higher than this motels rate at checkin, ($62.50 vs $81.24 I paid online including taxes), and there was no attempt to help rectify this discrepancy other than to smile and say, “That is Expedia’s margin we cannot do anything.” Poor, poor and bad pricing from Expedia!

The front of the hotel was on poor condition, broken signs, crumbling bricks. The front desk worker stated they were doing construction. The inside of the hotel was clean. The room we had was clean. Breakfast was good.

Front canopy was completely torn off. A portion of a brick tower on the front was gone...looked like high winds or tornado had damaged front. Was told they were renovating but never say any construction workers there during the three days I was there. Location was somewhat inconvenient...was on frontage road you had to navigate to through road ramp construction. Evening front desk young man spoke softly and was hard to understand and English was obviously a second language. One of the two rooms I reserved had trouble with clogged toilet and the desk attendant's only solution was handing guest a plunger. Eventually, the problem resolved itself satisfactorily. Some of the roaming individuals in the hotel were sketchy appearing types...not sure they were actually guests there. Quality of the breakfast could have been better. Overall, the beds were good, the rooms were clean (although one reeked of cigarette smoke even though it was advertised as non-smoking), and the price was good.

Room was okay except tv controller only worked half the time. Pool was only open every other day; so were unable to use it when we really wanted to with our grandkids. Staff very friendly enough. Front entrance blocked off. Looked like the sign on top of the building was in danger of falling off. Just older run down motel that doesn’t match the pictures on line.
