family trip

The hotel and room were all very nice. I was unpleasantly surprised because when I booked the room it said it was a suite. I thought that meant it would have a separate bedroom but it didn't. It had 2 beds and a pull-out couch--which I'm guessing is how its a considered a suite? We have a family of 5 so having a separate bedroom is key for our trips.

Thank you for your review on our property. I am very sorry for the confusion of the suite and that it didn't have a separate room. Because of our size, we consider our suites to be a room with either a king or two queen beds, what differs them from a standard room is the fact that they do have the pull out couch. I will look into the wording on booking sites to help prevent confusion in the future. Thank you again for taking the time to write a review.

We agree that although we have now been open for almost 2 years we find that some GPS systems still don't know we exist. We are continuing to update as many of these as possible. We are happy that all other aspects of your stay went well. Thank you for your feedback.

Stopover on way out west

Pros: We really like Holiday Inn Express!! Love the breakfast's!

Location: Didn't check out things to do.
Just wanted a short drive the 1st day of our trip west & this was it.

Comfy and clean

Pros: Updated, clean, friendly
Cons: There are no towel bars in the bathroom. Very weird and inconvenient but not the end of the world.
Location: The Spam museum is great even for those of us who aren't really into canned meat.Humorous and extremely well done.Great access to highways from hotel.
We stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was helpful and pleasant whenever we needed anything, the breakfast was great, the pool was clean and quiet, the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable; the beds were great (and I have a terrible back, so this is a big deal to me); the location was convenient. Overall, we loved this hotel and if we're ever staying in the area again will definitely go back!

In room phone did not work. Hotel is a smoke free hotel. But people were smoking in there rooms. There was a strong smoke smell in hallways and in my room. I talked to the night clerk and was moved to a different floor.

I am very sorry that you ran into problems during your stay with us. We are a nonsmoking hotel and do charge guests a fee when it is found that they did in fact smoke in the guest room. We know that when you stay at a nonsmoking hotel you do not expect to have these problems. I do hope that the front desk staff were able to make this right for you. Thank you.
