“A few kinks”

A good point would be that most of the parking lot was marked off because they were painting and doing some maintenance/repairs at the hotel. All of the non-smoking rooms were upstairs, which didn't make me happy. The bed seemed comfy enough, but I killed several bugs in the bathroom and the tub had a steady leak...not just a drip, but a full stream of water. I watched a movie on the tv and was suprised while channel surving to find a PORN channel. I nearly lost my dinner. This is NOT good for families traveling with small children.

“Service was slow”

The service was slow, and the room's window had a very large crack in it. I paid an extra $5 to be downstairs.

“RUN QUICKLY AWAY”

This is the first time I have ever wrote a negative review of a Hotel. The room was very smelly, wallpaper peeling from the wall, bathroom had stains in the fixtures. It was just horrible. I only stayed as other places were booked. Next time I will sleep in my truck before I stay here.

Had I known how old this motel was, would not have stayed there. Doing the best they can with what they have to work with, I guess.

“BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!”

We arrived in Henderson for the Frog Follies. We had reserved 3 rooms. Two rooms were adjasent to each other. the doors on both rooms did not shut properly to lock the room. The rooms were very dated and in dire need of a complete renovation. Bottoms of the bath tubs were badly stained and wall paper was falling off the wall. Our non smoking room had a burn hole in the mattress. After putting all of our stuff in the room my husband layed down in the bed. After lying in the bed a short time there were several bed bugs crawling on the pillow under my husband's head rm146. I phoned the front desk and asked for another room, I was told they had a problem in another room but that should not have affected us!!! I was given the key for rm 243. This room was like a flash back from the 70's, probably the last time it was updated and maybe cleaned, there were dead or non moving bugs all along the wall. That room was horrible, check out the pictures of the jacuzzi suite I am sure they were taken when the room was newly decorated, decades ago. The others in our party did not find bugs in their rooms. Room146 was rented the next day. I doubt if they exterminated this room. The hotel personel showed absoutly no concern about the bug problem. When we checked into another hotel, I told them at the new hotel we left Super 8 because of Bed Bugs and I was told that this Super 8 has that problem frequently. BEWARE! Expedia went to bat for us and got us our room rate refunded. Kudos to Expedia!!
