“great for the money”

This isn't going to be 5 star by any means. I was there for two nights and found the room to be spacious with a king size bed. The staff was outstanding. Ruby was a joy to talk to in the morning. I will be staying here again on my next visist to the area.

“Pet Friendly--Thanks!”

It is not easy to find a good hotel that accepts pets. This hotel accepted our pets with open arms. I appreciate that! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is an older hotel with the basic amenitites, but they do a fine job of delivery.

“Not somewhere you want to stay”

The hotel looked good from the outside and the staff was friendly, but the room...it left a lot to be desired--from hair all over the bathroom to a general lack of cleanliness in the room. This hotel was the only one available for a soccer weekend, and I would sooner drive the 6 hours round trip than stay here again.

“Wish it had been better”

While staff was very nice and personable, the hotel was lacking. The bathroom was moldy, the dust on the furniture was so think I could write my name in it, there were pieces of clothing tags from previous guests on the floor, the bedspread was a wrinkled mess, the requested wake-up call never came, there were used coffee supplies included in the in-room coffee service, and the toilet did not flush. Nothing was really rectified for the second night after I was assured early in the day that it would be. The evening manager came to our room to try to fix the toilet, which worked for two flushes, then stopped again, but everything else stayed the same. All of the pieces are there for a decent place to stay, it's just inattention to so many basic things that makes this hotel fall too short to consider for another stay.

“Room in terrible shape”

The room stunk the smoke and I requested a non smoking room. The bed spread had holes in it from cigarette burns but we were assured by the manager that no one had smoked in that room. We had to spray deoderizer for the two days we stayed to remove the awful smell. The sink in the bathroom barely drained and I had to remove the stopper and clean it so the sink would drain. The air conditioner was covered with dust and dirt. We cleaned this also to try and ensure cleaner air in the room for us. The carpets were filthy and we could not walk without socks or shoes on. Overall this room was borderline disgusting. Plus they jack up the prices at least $50 a night for an Ole Miss game weekend. Needless to say I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!!!!!

“The Do Nothing Hotel”

There was a couple fighting in the next room until 2a.m. I called the front desk at midnight to ask to quiet them and the office personnel said okay but did nothing. When I mentioned the next day, the manager shrugged it off and said the owner would call. Keeping in their true fashion they did nothing. Lousy night's sleep in a substandard place. Never again.
