“Quiet and clean; good price”
Clean and spacy room with refrigerator and micro wave; very confortable bed.
“Rude staff, clean room”
Apparently, at this hotel, the customer is not always right. The owner of the hotel walked in our room while we were getting dressed for the day (no knock, no nothing), and continued coming in after we raised alarm (it was way before check out time). Mentioned this at the front desk and were told, "that is what the do not disturb sign is for." Really? So at any hotel I should have the do not disturb sign on at all times or else staff will randomly walk in my room. Um, no, that is not how it works.

Room and facility is just ok, nothing to get too excited about.
“I'd stay again”
The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating (5). The amenities were basic, but the room was clean. It's a dated facility, but is in fair to good shape. The bed was comfortable as well. Overall, I've stayed in nicer places, but this wasn't a bad experience. The surrounding places were a bit borish and had conventional hours. No real place to grab a drink after work.

You should take this hotel off your list of places to stay in Batesville, until they make some improvements.
