Very nice

The hotel staff, especially Justina, were very helpful. The room was nice. It was quiet the first night. The second night we had to listen to a dog barking for about an hour before it got quiet.

Peaceful yet useful location

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Lovely village location but within easy striking distance of city centre. Food excellent, particularly the breakfast. Upstairs room got a little stuffy in the hot weather but overall a great stay.

Lovely stay

My husband and I went for a weekend. The room was spacious and clean. The staff friendly, the breakfast yummy. I slept like a log and had a wonderful time.

Nice stay but a bit expensive for what is essentially a Travelodge standard of room

Lovely hotel just outside Oxford

Posted May 31, 2014
Pros: Very smart, clean and quiet and excellent breakfast.
Cons: Really thick duvet for time of year!
Location: You're near Oxford, the city of a hundred spires, you'll never have time to do everything!
Good location, about 35 mins walk (flat) along river Thames into Oxford, also good bus Taxi service.

Quality hotel in picturesque part of Oxford

Posted May 20, 2014
Cons: Location on Google Maps was wrong, so we couldn't find it.
Very nice hotel. Only stayed for one night. It had good quality feel to the place and had some pleasant outside spaces. The bar and breakfast was also good. Short taxi journey from the centre of town.

Lovely hotel in a quiet village close to Oxford

Posted May 11, 2014
Me and my wife stayed over for a friend's wedding having previously stayed here on our own wedding night. Although we stayed in a different room this time it was still extremely comfortable to change and sleep etc. Friendly reception staff on check in and departure. Not a bad breakfast either. Would definitely recommend

River walk to Oxford

Posted May 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel is in a lovely setting within a village and is a short distance away from the river along which you can walk into oxford. This takes between 30 and 45 minutes at a very gentle pace. There are nice pubs on route should a rest be required. The first one being very family friendly. The hotel offers a hot breakfast which is cooked to order. The staff in both the restaurant and reception were friendly and approachable. Our room was cleaned on a daily basis and I would have no hesitation in visiting this hotel again.

decent hotel close to Oxford city centre

Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: cleanliness location sky tv staff
Cons: breakfast
Location: walking distance to a fantastic pub 10 mins drive from city centre
overall stay was great. room was bright, airy, clean and the bathroom was modern. after looking at some of the pictures on tripadvisor I was dubious of the hotel but was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. We had a great room and the grounds of the hotel was very nice. staff were excellent. I wasnt that impressed with breakfast, could be improved but for a 3 star hotel ticked all of the boxes.
