Very nice central locationPosted Dec 13, 2014
Pros: The food; the location; the staff; and the general ambience were all excellent.
Cons: Rooms could be a little larger.
Location: Oxford is extraordinary for its architecture and vibrance.
Friendly staff. Limited menu but very good quality. Very comfortable bed and room is just as comfortable although medium sized. Close to restaurants and shops. Really welcoming and would definitely stay there again. No spa or gym facilities.

Great location in Oxford EnglandPosted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: Location was great, staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Make the wifi more open without issue for log on.
Location: Easy walk to shopping (Covered market) and many others including 2 small shopping malls. Restaurants easily within 10 minutes of all types.
This hotel has great old world charm. Located in the midst of Oxford easy walk to sights, restaurants and shopping. Staff very helpful for locating places to see. The walking tour sponsored by the hotel is great of the surrounding colleges with a great history provided. Onsite dining is great for breakfast, lunch or supper. Morning options are excellent and reasonable value. Dinner options were great although there are many great restaurants within 10 minute walk. Some great breakfast options also within 2 blocks! Rooms are typical European but comfortable. Wifi good although a little hard to log on at times, the staff was prompt to fix any problems. Rooms quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Very clean fantastic locationPosted Nov 8, 2014
Nice building in a great location convenient for city centre and shopping, however for the price per night I have had better rooms. They are not particularly roomy, neither finished to a high standard as you'd expect for the per night rate, although the service is very good.

Excellent location and valuePosted Oct 31, 2014
Pros: Friendly yet discrete staff and comfortable room
Location: Couldn't get a more central hotel in Oxford ..yet it managed to be very quiet. Ask for a room overlooking the garden area as there is no noise at all
What a comfy bed! Such a central location with parking as well. Wonderful! The restaurant was busy but very nice as was the quality of the food.

Great hotelPosted Oct 27, 2014
Perfect location, great helpful staff and service, room was small but perfectly maintained and felt homely. Only comment would be that this place is popular so restaurant can feel a bit hectic and more like a chain rather than a boutique however food and service were still great.

V comfortable hotel with outstanding staffPosted Oct 17, 2014
Lovely comfortable hotel, excellent position and good parking. Appreciated the complimentary pod machine coffee in the attractive, tiny library. But most outstanding were the staff, everyone with whom we had contact was not just ordinarily welcoming, but also thoughtful, perceptive without being at all intrusive.
