Convenience and comfort in OxfordPosted Dec 10, 2014
We chose this very nice small hotel for it's convenience to the train. We got much more. The room was smallish but very comfortable. It came with a large bath, thoughtful extras, such as a bowl of fruit and biscuits, and a friendly staff. There are no stairs but staff are happy to help with luggage. The town, and gown, are easily accessible...a short walk up the hill.

Ok but overpriced in comparison to London hotelsPosted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Good location, near station and central. Friendly staff.
Cons: Korean restaurant needs to be blocked off or air condition so smell does not seep into hotel.
Staff on reception were friendly. Room was ok. Smell of Korean restaurant underneath hotel seep into rooms a little and very strong in foyer.

Wonderful StayPosted Oct 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is located across from the train station in an area that is pretty shabby. There is no lift in the hotel, but a member of the staff carried my bag up the huge flight of stairs. The wifi in my part of the hotel was very weak and I had to go down the hallway to the main stairwell to get good reception. However, the room was wonderful -- huge, great a/c, big bathroom, biscuits, fruit, and a kettle. It was only a short 5 minute walk into the heart of Oxford.

Great basic hotel in good locationPosted Sep 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a very serviceable place with convenient, secure and relatively cheap parking at the Staples store next to it (5 pounds per night). Very close to the train station and a short walk to the center of town. There are several restaurants only a block or two away.

Posted Sep 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
