OK accommodation for the price.Posted Nov 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Friendly staff and a decent restaurant. Room facilities were not as listed on the website - no iron & ironing board, no DVD player. Rooms were VERY warm even with all heating turned off. Overall decent accommodation for a one night stay.

Good accomm and service, one glitchPosted Sep 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
It's a great place to stay in Stoke Row if you want to eat at the mildly famous Crooked Billet just down the hill. They were kind enough to lend us a torch to guide us back after dinner. Only glitch was a slightly dodgy kettle, which they said they would replace. Very decent breakfast.

Deluxe King Bedroom( Walnut)Posted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: Pleasant friendly staff, breakfast of a good standard.
Location: When booking the hotel I didn't realize how far from Henley the hotel was, this was my mistake. There are an array of different and unique shops .
We were dissapointed by our room due the the horrible musty smell despite having the window open all night, the smell was even worse in the morning when opening up the bathroom door. The room was in good decorative order, I am currently awaiting a reply from management, I have e-mailed them direct.

Potentially lovely, but no in HenleyPosted Sep 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
We arrived - admittedly late - at 2145, to be told that the kitchen was open for another 15 mins - good news as we had been travelling since 5pm. Then told the chef had turned the cooker off and we could only get a cold starter! On both mornings, breakfast was supposed to start at 9am, but no-one was able to start breakfast until 0930 on either day. Our room was not serviced during our stay, and the Inn is 15 minutes from Henley. Soooo much potential, sooooo little customer care.

Lovely little inn, but SO NOISY!Posted Aug 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The area is lovely - all pretty countryside and nice little country pubs. About 15 minutes drive from Henley (mainly because windy country roads). The service inside was great, and we were given complimentary water. The room was a good size, with good sized comfortable bed (although it was quite creaky). The decor is ok, although the curtains let in quite a lot of light. There was no air conditioning (it didn't work) so instead there was a standing fan in the room. The bathroom while ok, was not a deep-soaking tub so much as a normal bath tub, and only 1 towel per person provided. The main issue with our room - the Cherry room was that it was advertised as "overlooking the garden". The garden was a small patch in front of the window, directly in front of the large gravel car park. People were coming and going out of the pub until nearly midnight, and with the sound of cars of gravel we got NO sleep until past midnight!! Breakfast in the morning was rather lacking too - the continental was a jug of orange juice, some fruit, and a selection of three cereals (you had to wait for milk). The fried breakfast was rather more impressive, although did take a while to be served, but worth the wait as it was a very tasty loaded plate of good quality bacon, eggs, sausages, biggest tomato I have ever seen, black pudding etc. Service throughout stay was very friendly. All in all a nice Inn, albeit a little far from Henley, with good service, but unfortunately let down by the noise
