Very good for those looking for clean, but affordaPosted Nov 2, 2013
Pros: Affordability, friendly staff and good breakfast included.
Cons: Whilst clean, the amenities are a little dated and could use some TLC
Location: Close to Oxford and convenient for visiting the Cotswolds.
Easy to locate. Check in was smooth. Full English breakfast was delicious.

English Country InnPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Nice pub with friendly people. Good food and not too high priced.
Good food, good people and that old English charm. I read a couple of the earlier comments regarding the WIFI connections and I can say that I had absolutely no problem. Good connection even from one of the "older, above the main house" rooms. Which, by the way, is what I really like about this place. The room had that English country side charm....you know, low ceilings, dark wood beams, a little bit of a creaky floor, etc.; yet a perfectly modern bathroom. Absolutely wonderful.

One night breakPosted Oct 21, 2013
Nice old inn with good range of real ales. The room above the pub was very cosy with old oak beams and good facilities - being on the main road, the traffic noise was noticeable early morning. We had a nice meal Saturday night and the full English breakfast was brilliant !

Good valuePosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Comfortable room, good pub with range of quality beers. Did not eat there except for breakfast which, for me, was let down by fat impregnated mushroom and tough skinned sausage. Over all a pleasant stay and would go again.

Worth every penny.Posted Jul 12, 2013
Pros: Lovely ambience and attentive staff
Cons: The bathroom could do with a lick of paint
Location: A lovely part of the country and do visit the Cotswold Wildlife Park, it's amazing
Incredible value. On arrival we were welcomed by a very polite member of staff who showed us to our room. Unfortunately we did not have an evening meal but next time we will! The breakfast was superb. We will definitely being staying here again and would recommend it to our friends and family if they were in the area.
