when we arrived, although early, the staff was very accommodating, making our stay there as comfortable as possible. The handicap accessible room had grab bars in appropriate places.
They even offered to loan us a wheel chair to leave the hotel.
They could not have been more helpful or accommodating!

My daughter and a friend stayed overnight after their prom. Her friend's grandmother and I stayed in an adjoining room with each room having two queen beds. There was an afterparty in one of the other suites, which is why we stayed, so that we didn't have to worry about transportation afterwards. While the students partied, we watched tv, wiling away the hours until they returned to the room for the night.
I would recommend this arrangement for anyone, because the girls had a place to change their close for the next party, and to crash once it was over. Also, we knew they were safe and we were nearby, without having to hover over them.

We chose the Residence Inn as while we were attending MAGfest over in the Gaylord, we had extended our trip into 14 nights and the facilities/room amenities looked impressive. We weren't disappointed as even just the King Suite room was akin to a small flat in itself with everything you'd need to self-cater. Well sized kitchen area, bathroom and plenty of lounge/seating space as well. The bed was bigger than ours at home which is always nice!
For the most part we found it comfortable, aside from the fact that we're not so used to spring-mattresses and my partner has a back problem. The fan for the heating was very loud though, couldn't sleep with it on but on a chilly January night it's a catch-22!
The staff were very friendly and polite. We even joked with the housekeeper about how we'd washed our dishes by hand as we didn't know how the dishwasher worked. Parking was adequate and not at all bad for the price - considering it's a secure lot and had 24-hour access if we wanted to get out to our friends which was another main highlight of our trip to MD.
