This is the second time I have stayed at the Hotel Emily during a convention. With the exception of small rooms which I find is typical of Mexican hotels and slightly uncomfortable bed, it was a pleasant experience once again. I would stay here next year.

Nice hotel in the heart of downtown Pachuca, this is the second time I stay there. Great value for the price.

Pros: the view
Cons: not sure if I would recommend, but I had to click yes or no on the heather
Location: excellent location
Overall, the service was OK, the room was spacious and clean and they were flexible in providing a room with a view to the clock which was very nice. The personnel are fairly helpful, but they are very untrusting, for example we asked to borrow 2 glasses of wine to the room and they only provided the glasses by signing a voucher for them. We also ordered a pot of coffee the room and we had a guy waiting at our door apparently because when we registered at the hotel we did not sign to have room service (??) therefore we needed to go downstairs to the restaurant and pay for our coffee right on the spot. (I am sure they have learned from experience not to trust anyone? anyway it looks like the restaurant operates separately from the hotel) Unfortunately, I forgot to put my mobile (not an expensive one) on the safe and it disappear, when I reported it at the end of the day that night (after we checked out) nobody had returned, several calls later, resulted on the phone not being found. Management was understanding of the situation but seem to really been with their hands tight and promise they would dig deeper on this situation. Our point to them is that yes, we should have put the phone on the safe along with everything else we left there, however, their personal should be reliable enough that if we fail to lock something it should not be taken. These things happen and again they promised they would look deeper into the situation. In general a good place to stay

The room was clean. The staff was great. Not a whole lot to do in Pachuca but I would recommend if you are traveling through to stay at Hotel Emily... price was very affordable. We enjoyed our visit.

HOTEL EMILY....... EL CENTRO......CHARMINGPosted Apr 12, 2011 on Hotels.com
This hotel is charming..... no air conditioning.... yet was comfortable..... clean, friendly, wonderful location on the square of Pachuca, only weakness was the pillows very firm and was a little difficult to obtain an iron and board. I will stay there again for sure in the future. Joe from Texas
