“Ocean location 30 minutes from SFO airport.”

Nice hotel on beach with surfers and kids wading. I chose this to be close to SFO airport, avoid most rush hour traffic and see the ocean. Nice, not great. Free breakfast buffet included hot eggs, bacon, great rolls and the standards. I would stay here again.

“Very nice getaway”

Remember to open the windows to better hear the surf from the beach. The hotel is nicely located in an out of the way area but it's still only a 15 min drive to downtown. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this place.

“Where the Fog is Pacifica?”

Had a little trouble finding the hotel but decided to turn into the Tourist Info bldg. and there was our hotel. The front desk staff was so helpful. The hotel lobby was clean and inviting as was the breakfast area and our room. Thanks for making our visit special.

“Very Satisfied”

Staff were very friendly/helpful. Breakfast buffet good with great view from breakfast room. Orange juice great. Hotel room and public areas decorated with taste. We had a non-ocean view room which made us more motivated to get out and explore. Ocean view rooms (I guess) would be great. Short drive into San Franciso and we used it a a "suburb" of San Francisco. No hesitation in recommending it.

“Awesome Location”

This is an amazing location for your typical HI Express. Beachfront is a very short walk from the door. Nice deck overlooking the ocean adjacent to the lobby where you can eat your inclusive breakfast. Coastal walking, jogging trail also within a short distance of the hotel. Location is what makes this hotel stand apart from what is generally a very standardized, and comfortable, accommodation.

“Very Satisfied with Stay”

Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Wi-fi. The Staff went out of their way to make sure that our stay at the hotel was a great experience. The room was comfortable and for the price of the king-ocean view was terrific. Literally one of the best views of the ocean from the room that I ever stayed in. We stayed in Hawaii north shore and the views were just as good at this hotel. The beach was a nice short walking distance from the hotel. I will definitely stay here again. We took our 2 year old daughter and she had a fantastic time. Hotel is very family friendly. Cheers.

“A hidden jewel...shhhh”

This is by far the best Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed in. It has the feel of a small inn with the amenities of the traditional american chain. The attention was fabulous from the hotel management and the cleaning crew to the breakfast help. The location is superb overlooking a small cove on the spectacular upper coast with a short drive through the Great Highway to San Francisco or a southern drive to Half Moon bay. It has exceptional rooms and great atmosphere that can host from the romantic escapade to the family road trip.

“No reservations about recommending this hotel.....”

Well worth the drive from San Francisco..... Had the ocean and excellent meals within walking distance. Staff was very attentive and rooms were clean. I have no reservations about recommending this hotel to anyone. I look forward to staying here again.

“A friendly little secret”

While most people traveling to San Francisco want to stay downtown and pay huge hotel prices, we opted to stay closer to the ocean outside the city. It was a great decision, as we throughly enjoyed this hotel! The facility is very nice in appearance and layout. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any request we made. The rooms were also nice with a mini-fridge, microwave oven and small sink in the kitchenette. The location is fantastic! While our room didn't face the beach, many do and it's about a 30 second walk to see surfers and a magnificent coastline. It's about a 10 minute drive into the city and right on Highway 1. We will definitely stay there upon our next trip to the Bay Area!
