nice hotel by the oceanPosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: clean and new
Location: hiking, surfing, walking on the beach, dinning except for dinner. most of the placed close down.
hotel is ok, right by the ocean. few exceptions that i will note next time i go to pacifica. limited parking, no pool or hot tub, no bar. lack of amenities for such a nice place. next time the best western lighthouse will be my choice. they have a pool hot tub ample parking, ocean views, it's a bit older but it's a trade off.

Comfortable hotel near sea with friendly receptionPosted Aug 19, 2014
We choose this hotel for location, driving up the coastal road and wanting somewhere to stay near San Francisco. We stayed 3 nights. We arrived after sunset and were received with friendly and helpful reception. The first night (Saturday) we walked down to a local restaurant where live music was playing. We woke to realise we had a great view of the beach and enjoyed the breakfast. The evening we ate in our room from a local Chinese restaurant about 5 min drive away, and reheated what was left in the microwave the next day. I enjoyed the always available complementary coffee and hot chocolate, as well as fresh cookies. San Francisco Bay area was easy to explore. We then stayed a couple of nights downtown to see the city.

Nice hotel with great customer servicePosted Aug 17, 2014
This hotel is a bit pricey compared to all of the other hotels in the area, but they do have great customer service. In the rooms you get Bath and Body Works shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, not the cheap stuff that you tend to get at other places. Three people in my room forgot our toothbrushes and they hotel gave us some for free. The free buffet-style breakfast in the morning was pretty good. I didn't really like their muffin though. It tasted like dough. Their sausages and eggs, however, were excellent. There's also a fancy pancake machine that makes you two pancakes with a push of a button. The kids went crazy over this machine! Drinks are offered for free 24 hours a day. Their milk in the little white containers are the best. Everyone in my family, from the little kids to my dad, liked it. The juices were okay. You also have the option to make your own coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Our hotel room and the hotel in general lots really nice. The interior design lots every modern, but at the same time relaxing and nautical. I know it's hard to imagine these three together, but the hotel did it. The hotel also has some couches on the first floor for people to sit and chat. There's also a patio that faces the beach. Since I mentioned beach, the hotel sits right off Rockaway beach. This beach is gorgeous and hidden away by two rocky hills.

Great Gem by the WaterPosted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Vijay and all staff were very nice and the breakfast was very well presented and always kept full.
Location: Beach area in walking distance. Bowling alley close by. 10 mins from BART system to get into downtown San Francisco
We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival how clean and close to the water the hotel was. The children were greeted with fresh baked cookies. The room and all the amenities were what we were looking for. The drive to the BART station in Colma was only 10 mins away if you don't want to drive into downtown San Francisco

Really cute hotel right by the beach, quiet.Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: No comment
Location: The beach is right there, we drove to the Daly City BART station and did stuff all over the bay area in the course of our stay.
It was a really nice, peaceful alternative to the cramped and overpriced rooms in the City. Loved being right by the beach. The breakfast buffet was more than adequate and the staff was really nice.

Nice hotel for area.Posted Jun 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed last night of vacation and spent extra to stay on the beach. Room was very nice and comfortable. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Neighborhood does not fit hotel (older). Beach close, but not anything to note. Can't say it was worth the price, but all-in-all, was very nice hotel!
