Typical older hotel. Nice little area.

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Price was right.
Cons: Needs some serious updates and maintenance.
Location: The local area around the hotel (immediate walking distance) had some nice little restaurants and bars. Enough for the one night stay that I had. I
A typical older hotel with low water pressure in the shower, mildewed tile grout and moth-eaten drapes (literally!). A small cat might have been able to squeak through the gap at the bottom of my door. You could time the elevator by the movement of the planets (it was slow). Nevertheless, it seemed reasonably clean and the price was right. The hotel housekeeping staff apparently cannot read English as they knocked on the door twice even though I had the Do Not Disturb sign out! The local area around the hotel (immediate walking distance) had some nice little restaurants and bars. Enough for the one night stay that I had. I also took a nice little walk up the bluffs on the South side.

Hotel of doom

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: The view of the water from our room.
Cons: New mattresses and pillows. Better wi fi.
Location: Not much to do near by except drive to the city.
We didn't like the appearance of the hotel from the start. The beds were creaking when we sat on them and not too comfortable to sleep in. We had problems with the wi fi from the start and spent time trying to get it fixed, which it never did. Unfortunately, we had 3 days to stay there and couldn't find anything else at the last minute unless we wanted to spend a lot. It isn't close to much of anything for food or entertainment either.

Decent hotel 1 block from ocean

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Bed was comfortable, room a decent size. Ocean view mostly looks at (and over) another hotel across street. No noise problems. Located in the touristy part of Pacifica, easy drive to SF airport and Pacifica area. Price not bad for area.

A clean value option

Posted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: Value
Cons: It could be upgraded, but that wasn't necessary for my purposes.
Location: Can't beat Nick's Restaurant (Pacifica tradition) and adjacent beach.
Needed a value place to sleep and cleanliness was only real consideration. Very pleased. Location and proximity to beach and some dining was a plus.
