Nice hotel, close to sights.Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Staff and location.
Cons: Twin room availability option and maybe a broader breakfast selection.
Location: Located on the south of the city, it 100 metres from the famous St. Anthony's Basilica and a 10 min walk from the Scrovegni Chapel.
While simple and small, the hotel was welcoming. Located close to the Basicilla of St. Anthony, we experienced plenty of bell ringing, but nothing too disturbing. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming and available to assist in any way. The rooms were small, and the bathrooms smaller, but both were sufficient and clean, with everything in good condition and working order.

Friendly hotel, centrally locatedPosted Aug 28, 2013
Pros: The friendliness of the staff and its location made it the perfect place to stay.
Cons: Breakfast, whilst adequate, was not inspiring.
Location: The hotel is about 15-20 minutes walk to train and coach station. From there it is only 20 mins on train to Venice.
Owners were very welcoming. Room and en-suite clean. Location perfect for sightseeing, shopping and very close to Botanical Gardens. The university is well worth a visit as it is beautiful. The food from the restaurant was tasty and good value for money.

Perfect for Padua!Posted Aug 21, 2013
Pros: Location and clean.
Location: St. Anthony is a block away. Just a few minutes walk to Scrovegni Chapel. Not far from the old city center.
Perfect location for seeing Padua. We took less than 10 minute taxi from the SITA bus station near train station for 13.00 Euros to hotel. On a quiet side street, walking distance to all the sites. Very clean room with two double beds and a twin--just right for our family of 4. Turned on the AC in the room when we got there and were nice and comfortable in August in no time. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and spoke English very well. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends.

No frills, charmless dorm roomPosted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was not impressed with my tiny dark room, with an absurdly small shower (literally 30" x 30"; nor the dark, dangerous hallways that prevented me from opening my room door without my cellphone as a light. I though the desk clerk who basically laughed at my outfit (shorts/tshirt after traveling all day), was a poor welcome. And finally, the extra "room tax" they charged on my way out was really annoying. I though I'd paid for everything in advance, that was definitely unimpressive.

Good location, good service and reasonable price. If you will visit Venice, Padova is good for stay. And there are lots of locations to see at Padova.

Superb value for money and excellent staff.Posted Jun 16, 2013
It's a fantastic hotel if you're coming to Padova to see the Basilica.. Just 150 yards or so down the road. We landed at Marco Polo and took the Sita bus to Padova. After the 45 minute trip we got dumped off at the Autostazione and not knowing where to go next. Finally we found a really helpful person who said they'd take us to the hotel (how lucky was that!). So we jumped on a few trams and finally made it to the hotel. Reason why I'm saying this is because it can be quite hard to find... Well I though it was! Check in was easy and we were greeted by a really nice gentleman on the desk. He gave us our key and told us where to go. The rooms are superb value for money. Spacious, comfortable and quiet. The air conditioning was very useful as it does get hot during the day here in Padova. Overall the hotel is great value for money and well worth coming to especially if you're wanting to see the old town and the Basilica. The hotel staff are fantastic too! Especially the lovely gentlemen on the front desk... He was superb!! Just forgot to get his name :( Oh, and there's free wifi too!! Just ask the front desk and they give you the code.

Great hotel for single or familyPosted Jun 6, 2013
Pros: great breakfast, clean room and quiet
Location: convenient and good location
The location is perfect for visitors/guests as the hotel is accessible to all you want to visit and the restaurant available at the hotel. We came late and the owner Antonio was very accommodating and very nice and polite. Its closing time for the restaurant but Antonio allow us to dine though its very late. We have a pleasant sleep for 2 nights as the room is clean, quiet and safe. Breakfast is perfect as we have a lot of choices and everyday pastries and bread is fresh. Everyday the owner, Antonio, is there and very friendly to all guests. He provides good information and direction to all your inquiries about the area and concern about your safety. I strongly recommend this hotel to all who want to visit Padova as you will never find a very customer-oriented owner and the price is good as well and location so convenient. I gave this information to all my friends and relatives as they can choose to stay in this hotel and enjoy and have a pleasant stay. We will continue to book in this hotel on our next visit to Padova.

so close to St AnthonyPosted May 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
we loved Padua. St anthony is a great church with so much to see and to think about. Also the Scrovegni chapel. I think staying here is better than a day trip from Venice and so much cheaper and quiet. loved the markets, and getting lost. the hotel staff were so helpful, and everything lived up to expectation of a n Italian hotel in a historic neighbourhood with all that entails.
