“overpriced and charmless”
We actually "spent up" for a supposedly nicer place, because it was my birthday. The exterior of the hotel in the online pictures (and in reality) had a certain belle epoque old-world appeal. But inside it became immediately apparent that it was merely a fake facade for a Soviet-style dormitory. There was no air-conditioning, there was no wi-fi in the room, no hot water, a dreary depressing room and squalid bathroom, and the staff was borderline snotty. Ridiculously overpriced given its hostel-level quality. A real bait-and-switch loser.
“Great staff and close to train station and the town center.”
While on vacation in Italy, we stayed in this hotel on two seperate occasions. Both nights were comfortable and the staff was very nice and helpful.
“Good hotel”
Small, but comfortable and clean room. Tasty breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location.
“Great value and a fun place to stay”
My two teenage daughters and I stayed 3 nights and are very impressed with the hotel. The breakfast choices were plenty; the daily happy hour had many kinds of snacks plus a quite few choices of wine. The dinning area is big and clean. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk to Arena Chapel. If anyone visits Padova, this is a great place to stay.
