“Old but nice”
This hotel is rather old and small. It is located on a small street but within easy walking distance to the main squares and sites. Room was reached via an complex hallway but was quiet and nice although rather small. Breakfast room was small and offerings adequate. Staff generally nice.
“perfect location in Padova”
We were upgraded to the Giotto suite and loved having the two rooms. We were right in the heart of Padua, close to all the attractions and the oldest University Buildings. A great place and a lovely hotel.
“terrific hotel”
this hotel is very well positioned in the center of the historic area and very quiet. room decor is a bit on the dark side but that is the only thing we can comment about. in walking distance to all the places we wanted to see. the personnel are very helpful. it is worth the price.
“"Will be back with wife"”
I recommend the hotel strongly. It is wonderfully located near the Piazza della Frutta and walking distance to the train station and Capella Scrovegni. Within a block of the hotel are outstanding osterie.
“More than we expected for the price”
Padua was a nice base location to tour Verona and Venice. Very impressed with the hotel's varied buffet breakfast, large bathroom and very friendly staff. Beautiful hotel.
“Charming location and great service”
Although the hotel was a little far from the train station, it was located in a very charming neighborhood. We were especially impressed with the service-they left us a bottle of wine for my friend's birthday which they apparently noted from the passport-very thoughtful.
“Review”
My partner and I stayed at the hotel for eight nights on our visit to Padua. The service at the front desk and the quality of the daily breakfasts were outstanding. The rooms and bathroom were small but acceptable. The furnishings needed updating as were both outdated and threadbare. The hotel is ideally suited for tourists being situated in the historic center of the city, close to exceptionally good public transportation.
“Nice”
They had a very good breakfast buffet - probably the best one on our trip to Italy. Considering the room rate, we got a bargain. Room was quiet - all windows were dual glass; plus wooden shutters. For us it was a good location.
“Great hotel in the middle of Old City”
Stayed here as I had to work in Padova for the week. The hotel is in Old City which restricts car traffic (but they let tourists slide if you are staying here). Plenty of restuarants and shops to explore in every direction. On the weekends, the city comes alive with street vendors and open markets. The giant plaza just south is full of everything you could want and St. Antonio's is a short walk. Hotel staff was pleasant, helpful and all spoke English. Nice little breakfast included to start your day from 7-10am.
