Room needs upgrading, but it was clean and bed comfortable. Very easy to get around by walking but also very convenient parking behind hotel. Staff was very polite and helpful, breakfast was delicious.

It hard to understand the rating that had been assigned to this hotel. Whilst the staff were charming, the room was filthy and in bad repair. I’m not sure I have ever slept in such an uncomfortable bed. The breakfast was basic and whilst the coffee was good, the quality of the rest was lacking. The massages was however very good.

Convenient
Nice staff and very clean. The door handles are sharp and I ended scratching my wrist twice. Asked for a spare pillow and was told “no sorry, no spare pillow as we’re fully booked” which made me laugh. Lovely staff at reception, very friendly.

Excellent location, a bit outdated
Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel room itself needs a renovation: bathroom looked old, toilet was leaking, washing tube joints need work, air con so and so ... Reception area and breakfast room looked nice, probably newly renovated. Parking is was very good, on-site, free. Hotel location is great just next to the old town.

Great value in historic center of Prato
Beautiful property in the middle of town. FRiendly host, great interiors and beautiful garden fir breakfast. Furnishing are in very goody taste. Place is super clean. Use of kitchen is great.

Great place to stay in Padova.
Great location close to the historic city centre with lovely views over the river. Very friendly and helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast.You gotta stay there.

Modern padova
Great modern hotel in an ancient town. Secure free parking. All staff was great from the frob desk to the late night bartender and the morning breakfast attendants. The only issue were the pillows. Flat and uncomfortable.

We chose the hotel as a four star and it lived up to its billing . The private parking is very useful as parking is restricted around the hotel. They served a very good breakfast in a pleasant environment. The real stars of the show were the staff ,particularly Alba the head receptionist. Nothing was to much trouble . The hotel has a beautifull spa that needs promoting . One observation the bathrooms are clean but the old fashioned and gloomy tiling are rather off putting. Happy to recommend

Great hotel for a visit to a beautiful city
Ina quieter area of town (which we loved), overlooking the river but still close enough to the winding backstreets that contain the best bars and restaurants. Room was a good size and bed was great. Shower was excellent but the dark dark blue decor of the bathroom was a little weird!! Staff couldn’t have been nicer - friendly, helpful and prepared to withstand my insistence that we spoke Italian so I could practice. Would definitely go back

This hotel was nothing like the description. Needs serious updating. The staff was great and the chef in the restaurant was a gem. They all made the stay worthwhile. So cudos to the staff.

Overall our stay at Methis hotel was good. They were a few problems, such as the carpeting was in very bad shape, the refrigerator did not work, and we could not get the TV to work. The people who work there were very friendly and helpful ... The location was OK, but we did have to walk at least a mile to get to the bus.

Nice hotel a bit out of town About 10 min walK.
Very quiet environment.. very spacious rooms, very hard beds (excellent if that's what one likes) but the staff is just fantastic! Staff at the reception fabulous, have rarely come across such efficient and friendly receptionists, they made all the difference during our stay.. Marco and his lady collègue.

This was a dreadful experience. The air-conditioning was broken and it was 35° outside. There was no gym, pool, or terrace as described in the website. The bathroom was painted dark blue and was extremely ugly. The bedroom was tiny.

Two nights, good location out of centre but free parking and nice and easy 15 minute walk in to centre. Large opening window, comfortable firm bed, strange large bespoke bath but plug doesn't really keep water in. Very good shower over. Nice downstairs lounge area

We took two rooms for a night. The air con was not working especially at night, and this is because the receptionist said the air con was too noisy. There is no iron and iron board.

Okay, but had issues.
Okay hotel. Free parking. Room was clean. Inside wall. Okay walk to old part of city. Air conditioning was strange. Apparently under the control of the front desk, not the room thermostat. The first night it worked for awhile, but then stopped, and the room got hot. The next two nights, it worked fine. Strangely, our last morning, after it was working fine, there was a crane in the parking lot installing a new air conditioning unit. The theme of our floor is acqua (blue). Nice there is a theme. But, both the walls AND the floor of the bathroom are painted a DARK blue. There are three ceiling lights for the bathroom. One was burnt out. One was low light. Only one was a normal brightness light. So it was like night in the bathroom. I don't know how the maid would be able to clean it. Our fault for not complaining to the front desk about it. But shouldn't someone have noticed this?
