“Great Location”

This motel is surrounded by shopping and dining opportunities that are within easy walking distance. Motel staff were very helpful and friendly.

“Was surprised!”

Was very happy with our stay at Thrifty Inn .Pillows could have been harder but slept fine. Booked room online and was surprised at the price and comfort of the room. We plan more trips to Paducah and plan to book more rooms here. Staff was very friendly .

“Nice for the price.”

This is my third stay. While in the past it was ok but could improve,I always returned due to budget restrains. This trip was much better. The room was clean & staff friendly. I will return.

“Not Bad”

I wasn't sure what to expect, based on the reviews I read, but I pleasantly surprised. The hotel employees were very friendly, my room was clean and the bed was moderately comfortable. I liked the location, right off the interstate, but not the lack of noise control. I could hear the highway all night. The free WiFi was a great bonus. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay. I was driving down to GA from MN, so all I needed was a place to sleep and this fit the bill.

Area recommendations

There were several restaurants, liquors stores, ect in the area. There is also a Wal Mart just down the road away from the highway, which was very helpful. I was disappointed in the lack of fast food places, so I wound up eating a gas station sandwich for dinner.

It was exactly as I expected. I needed a room for the night that was inexpensive. The room was comfortable It was close to the Mall and many other stores. It is close to Western Baptist Hospital where my father in law was staying.

“Not as bad as expected”

After reading other reviews we expected the worst but were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, people at check-in friendly, and outside area not as shabby as led to believe. The bed was not top of line comfortable, but didn't sag in the middle and was firm. There were no signs of bed bugs and fresh linens were supplied daily. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable place to spend the night. We have stayed at much more expensive hotels and found out that they don't always provide better services.

“Adequate if not picky”

It was fine. We had no problems. You get what you pay for, so you can't expect perfection, and we didn't. Everything was as we expected.

At interstate exit, near mall. Variety of shopping and restaurant opportunities. Fairly close proximity to airport.
