When I arrived it had been raining so I got damp when coming in and out to register then bring in my belongings. Wet and cool, so tried to turn the heat on for a bit, didn't work, neither did the A/C later. The clock didn't work, no orange juice at breakfast. I am from Palatka and have stayed there many times and been quite satisfied, but this time NOT.

The property is worn down and furnitures need replacing as they are worn down. The place smells wet as if there had been a previous flood. The cleanliness of this hotel is unexceptionable, you can tell multiple people live at the property which makes it undesirable. It’s extremely noisy and has roaches. We were there less than. 30 minutes my husband gathered our things and we went to the Holiday Inn next door. Luckily they had availability; more expensive but well worth it.

There was bed bugs in the bed and the sheets smelled disgusting my son and myself are both bit and itching on our arm! The bathroom molding was falling apart and bugs behind the wall.

The lobby was clean enough and smelled fresh. However the hallways, elevator and room smelled HORRIBLE. Old, musty....smelled like a wet dog at best. Luckily, there was a Lowe's nearby where I could drive to get some disinfectant and room deodorizer. The carpet in my room was so dirty I refused to take off my socks. The chair and sofa were badly stained and both need to be thrown out. I would not sit on either. The bed was about as comfortable as sleeping on a large bag stuffed with material. There were stains on the wall, the curtain, the door frame.. it was overall a mess. I checked out at 11:00 p.m.... much earlier than my intended stay of all night.

They gave away my room, and I had to wait more than two hours for them to clean another room for me. When I got to the room, the bed was smaller than what my original room had, it reeked of pot, the shower curtain was on the bathroom floor, and the AC was barely working. They put an air purifier in the room to try to get rid of the odors from the previous guest, but it was really loud. There were food wrappers and trash under the bed. I moved rooms the next day, but the new room wasn't much better. I won't be staying here again, even though the staff was helpful and did what the could.

Noise levels throughout the night, could hear people on the floor above.The bathroom was not clean, mirrors were dirty, floors and tub had loose debris all over. The fixtures were dated and corroded. One floor lamp was covered with rust. The carpet was sticky and had lint everywhere. The beds were very nice, and the air conditioning worked well and was quiet.
