Spent 3 days in paradise here, stayed in Villa which is set atop stanchions providing a great view from the balcony and offering modest privacy. Staff was extremely accommodating and very friendly. Cuisine is top notch, breakfast buffet is widely varied and well presented, lunch and dinner were both delicious (fruit salad, fish, crab) and fulfilling. Resort caters to couples but families were also present with plenty of things to do (hiking, island hopping, snorkeling, diving). Meals can be catered on remote island locations as well as locally on the beach making for a romantic rendezvous. Price is high but well worth it!

We visited during the slow season and it was terrific. Our 2nd and 3rd day at the resort was just us and one other group of 4 who we rarely saw so we had the entire place to ourselves. The staff was great, the rooms are very nice and the day tour to Black Island was very nice.

Smiling faces waiting for us as we left the airport were just the beginning of a great stay at Subli. The staff were exceptionally friendly - willingly arranging a tour of the underground river at short notice, giving advice on how to travel to our next destination and providing a transfer service from the airport, to the bus terminal and even to a restaurant! The cabins are in a quiet part of town, but easily reachable by public transport. A lovely spot for those not seeking the hustle and bustle or nightlife of the town.

Apulit Island is beautiful for total relaxation. We loved that there were no jet skis or motorised water sports... It keeps the island peaceful. Staff were so lovely and accommodating. Food was absolutely amazing! We fell in love with the place. Our only complaint was that the bed was way to hard. Much like sleeping on the floor. Besides that, heaven on earth.

Hotel is slightly out of town but an excellent value. The only drawback is the availability of transportation out of the hotel location after dark. You can't walk to the main road because the rain frequently washes out the dirt road turning it to mud and impassable pools of water. The tricycles rarely have a reason to pass by the hotel and if they do they are full of passangers. The hotel was kind enough to provide free transportation on occasion but this was a little limiting. The have a beautiful pool, the gardens are well mainatined. The managment is solid and were able to arrange very good tours to the local sights. I would stay there again and would reccomend the location to travelers looking for a great value.
