Loved every minute
It was an amazing experience to stay there. Centrally located it’s in walking distance to most sites we wanted to visit as well as very close to bus and train station. Only place we ever took a taxi to was el Cristo del Ortero. Registration personnel was super nice and sweet as said they would love to visit us in the Pueblo next year. I was scared they would charge us for using the elevator so much but of course they didn’t. Oh they only turn the air conditioning on when it gets really hot but we opened the windows and it was fine. On our last night they did turn the air on upon request but we had to ask them to turn it off after a little while. Well I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Super hotel near train station and 8 mins from cathedral. Only problem is the parking on site as access is by a lift. My Lexus 1s 250 just got in with about 2 inches either side. Breakfast was good. Would recommend .

Eurostars has been my hotel favorite in a life of travel in Spain during my early retirement. I was impressed again. Perhaps in part due to a relaxing atmosphere of Palencia factored into things but there is a feeling of peace and organization in this hotel. Price to quality was outstanding and the breakfast buffet a winner. The staff is professional and friendly. It’s a little tricky if your walking from the train or bus station as you go under the tracks and then up but play it safe and go to the next intercession to cross even though you will be tempted earlier. It’s a five minute walk- why not make it six and arrive safely? Then again there is a taxi stand right there between the bus and train stations and a rental car agent there. It’s a convenient place for a traveler either way. I like the spacious balcony with a wood table and chairs that gave it a homey feeling. My room had a tub if you like them. The restaurant is closed still but you can get a thing or two in the mini bar and spirits/coffee near where you check in. I was in a single room near the elevator and never hear the elevator or much noise at all.

If you are a cyclist. STAY AWAY. Treated like rubbish by the front desk and charged 3 Euros to park my bicycle in their empty garage.

Could be worst!
The toilet flush didn't work in the room. The room was changed and upgraded, no problem. The new room was lovely, but the TV didn't work Well you can't have everything in this life. Al least we're not in Ukraine trying to have a hotel break!

Highly disappointed!
I was disappointed with this hotel. We tried to cancel one of the rooms with ample time and accommodate the third traveler in a double room. The hotel was seemingly empty, but we were told there was no possible way to reassign our room in order to fit in the third person. While the bed was comfortable, there was an overwhelming smell of smoke (and we had requested non-smoking!); no tissues in the room, no coffee either, and no disinfectant gel in the room during the pandemic. Skin and bones, literally! For a four-star hotel, it felt more like a three or even two star hotel. It was also not possible to control the temperature in the room. Finally, although staff was not rude, there was no courtesy upon our check-out either. Highly disappointed and we won't stay at this hotel again!

Nice business stay
Nice for stay for business. I never parked in the garage because it seemed like a hassle to get in and out of it, as you have to take a car elevator. However, it was very easy to park on the street within a block behind the hotel. Area is very safe and a super market is about a 100 yards away. Very clean, helpful staff, and the AC worked great.

Diana Palace fit for a King, and Queen!
Great staff and hotel, food amazing and cleanliness really good. Rooms serviced daily... No tea making facilities in the room, but I am British! Room service really good... Certainly recommend :)

Excellent hotel
Excellent hotel within walking distance of the town. If you have a vehicle as we did you have to use the lift, ensure it's working as we had bikes in the underground car park and needed to get to the ferry, an hour later the engineer had fixed it but give yourself time. Te staff were excellent and very friendly.

Disappointing.
Not so good. No parking available at 17.30hrs on Monday afternoon, so had to drive away and look for alternative parking. First room given was large and comfortable, but had three flags held by metal links on to poles just outside windows, so continuous rattling noise. Second room given on top floor with balcony, but bed not comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Location on main road, also near busy railway line, so would not recommend rooms at front of hotel, and definitely not first floor because of flags and traffic and rail noise.

I think the pictures do not show how nice this hotel really is. It is a bargain considering what you get for your money. It is extremely clean and quiet. It offers a great buffet breakfast. It is located at walking distance from all the places of interest in the city: You can reach the train station or the Calle Mayor in 3-5 minutes. Great deal for your money.

Located close to railway station with secure parking. Hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. The young lady receptionists and the young male waiter in the restaurant were exceptional in terms of friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism. Only a short walk to city centre but has an inexpensive cafeteria and bar on site. Good breakfast and overall a very good hotel.

Good central location, with easy access to city centre by foot. Seek guidance from excellent hotel staff members for suitable restaurants if eating out. If a 'quiet time' is on your agenda plan to arrive mid-Sunday afternoon - the city is the equivalent of a 'ghost town' before coming to life again around 19.30. Comfortable and clean hotel, extremely competent and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Hotel is perfectly fine- clean and comfy. It doesn't have a restaurant but the breakfast was very good. I would not recommend this hotel if you have a big car. To access the parking you have to put the car into a small lift

Small room in a clean hotel
The hotel itself is fine, but the room was very small. Not even a chair or a desk. Basically, just a bed, although the bathroom was not that cramped, and the general decor and cleanliness was fine. The hotel is close to the train station, so the location is OK. The breakfast was, on the whole, fine, even if some items could be a bit fresher. The staff was not bad, but nothing special. This was the least appealing of the 5 hotels I stayed during this trip, but it was not that bad--just below what I am used to, esp. for a 4 star hotel.

Probably the best front desk staff I have EVER encountered. Courteous, helpful... Seem to really enjoy their jobs and the town they live in. Great safe location near the train station and old town.

My stay was pleasant however when we arrived the car park was full so we had to park a 10 minute walk away. There was no mention of this on the web when i booked. If i was on holiday its no problem but when on a business trip time is precious. Also on the net i booked a double bed and ended up in a single.

Conveniently located stopover hotel
We used this as a stopover on way through to Santander from Portugal. Convenient location near the city train station and the city centre. Limited hotel communal facilities but not a problem for us as we like to go out and explore and find new restaurants. Didn't use the onsite car park as fully booked. But there is safe on street parking within 100m.

I really enjoyed my stay, managed to get into Town even though I was only there for a night, staff were very very helpful the breakfast was as good as you will get anywhere, really good .the evening meal again very good and the stall were great, the only disappointment for me was PARKING a narrow street into a narrow garage but for that I would have given a really good score
