Love this place, hard to leave

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Lovely garden setting with spacious suites. Nice furniture and love the oversize vases of heliconias. Service is attentive and food top quality.
Cons: Mosquitoes are a problem due to proximity to the jungle. Coils in the rooms and restaurant would be handy to keep them at bay.
Location: This property is on the road to the Palenque ruins. This is the main attraction here together with going to the waterfalls.
This was the nicest spot we stayed at during our trip to Mexico. It was very peaceful here and perfect for relaxing. Would make a great honeymoon spot.

The best in Palenque, by far

We arrived late in the evening and we have forgotten to request an extra bed, the staff were more than happy to help and to accommodate all of our requests. The hotel is spectacular, the grounds and the rooms are gorgeous! Quite an amazing stay!

Great Boutique Hotel

Posted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Clean, cozy, friendly staff, good food.
Cons: Would be nice to have a little library of books for guests to browse through. Internet speed is a little bit iffy.
Great stay overall. Very personal and friendly service. Nice rooms with nice balcony; Good food; Knowledgeable and friendly staff. The owner is an expert in Mayan hieroglyphics and is a great source of information about Palenque.

Luxury in the jungle

Beautiful hotel with large spacious rooms. Location is out of town, on the way to the ruins. Not much nearby, but taxis are cheap and quick. The pool was a refreshing and welcome addition to our time in Palenque
